Hi Vojtech -
I just installed the 8.02 update of 64 bit mVocoder. I loaded the VST3 version in SONAR 64 bit X3e Producer (Windows 8.1) - and I get an instant dropout at any audio setting. When I load the VST2 version, it runs fine. Note that I ran the VST3 version of 8.0 in the same DAW configuration without any problem.
thanks

What do you mean by drop-out? The audio completely stops?

Ok, so I just tried in Sonar X3e and everything seems fine. I tried several plugins (how that work btw?) and then I realized MVocoder doesn't output any sound unless there is both carrier and modulator, so I tried enabling LR encoding and it worked (does that work?) and I also tried creating a secondary track and sending it to the plugin's sidechain and that worked as well. So if it doesn't work, could you create a simple project and send it to me, so I can check if there aren't some routing problems or something? It works even if surround is activated.

Yes - the audio engine stops completely. It may be fixable by increasing the latency, but isn't an issue with the VST2, and wasn't an issue with 8.0 (either VST2 or VST3).MeldaProduction wrote:What do you mean by drop-out? The audio completely stops?

Wait, but you can restart it again, right? Please be more specific.

It shuts off immediately as soon as I reset it. Again, not with the VST2. This is Windows 8.1 BTW. A fellow user on the SONAR forums reports it (VST3) works fine for him (also X3e,64 bit), but he is using Windows 7.MeldaProduction wrote:Wait, but you can restart it again, right? Hi Vojtech -
I don't know what to say - I figured I would load up the VST3 again after your questions to see if I could get it to work, and it works fine now. I apologize for what was probably a hasty post on my part, but when I observed the VST2 was working as expected, I naively put it down to a potential issue, when I should have rechecked it before posting.
Very sorry about that. Excellent Vocoder, by the way.
Thanks for the quick followup - outstanding service, Vojtech.
