One installer for every plugins

I don't like that. Waves does the same and it's always a hassle when you want to upgrade just a couple of the plugins. And most of the times there is a new version because of something else. Doesn't help the overview either.
And often, at least with other developers, the "bundle" is often updated later than the single installers.

I meant to keep the single installer as well.
If you want to re-install all the plug each time u-he release a new version (2252...) it saves time to do it in one click.

That's a different story.
I can imagine that it would be a hassle for U-He to keep more installers updated. Maybe there are easy ways to handle this.

It is a possibility, but if we start this then we can not distribute the build process among multiple build servers. Which is something that we might want to do.
We'll see...

I believe that if you don't distribute the build, it may take a day or twoUrs wrote:It is a possibility, but if we start this then we can not distribute the build process among multiple build servers. Which is something that we might want to do.

From another thread ...

Companies like fabfilter and plugin alliance offer an all-in-one installer as well as the individual installers.

When you have to download a bunch of installers it's nice when they are grouped together. Many of us not only have most of the u-he plugins, but we also have to keep a bunch of other plugins up to date.billcarroll wrote:Thanks for the updates!
A few suggestions regarding the installers:
1. Please consider creating a u-he Total bundle installer
2. Name your installers with a prefix of "u-he" so they all group together when downloaded and also when extracted
3. When recommending not installing VST3, offer to remove the old VST3 files if you don't recommend using them
