They don't interfere, should be no worries heremurnau wrote:i think if you have a daw which handle multicore you have to turn it off inside the plugin or vice versa. can't imagine how it could work when you turn on multicore support inside both. didn't they interferer each other?

So this weekend, I just got totally enthralled with this synth, and wrote and recorded this little tune. It was recorded with ten instances of Diva (not running all at once). The only tracks that aren't Diva are the drums and percussion.

That's a quite nice track! Well done!
I do notice some volume bumps quite often, maybe compressors might need some tweaking (if you used them - if not, definitely use them to level out the peaks somewhat).

Thanks.
I should add that I used zero effects of any kind, including EQ or limiting on any of the individual tracks.
When I put the whole thing together, however, I had to -
- use an EQ to take out some low end
- use a limiter on the final mix, because I was pegging the meter in some spots
I should probably do a complete track-by-track mix - like I said, I didn't even EQ them - and then do a real final mix. But the fact is, I am woefully inept at such things. I like to play keys, but a great recording engineer I am not.

Very nice track, Michael. Good to see you here. Your Virus TI demos on Youtube were very helpful a few years ago when I was looking to buy one. (Mind you, I ended up selling the TI and going back to software a month later, but I was still glad I tried it.)

Thanks... Wow.. Someone who remembers those XG MIDI files from back in the day? Thanks for listening.aboukirev wrote:Nice track, Michael. Reminds me a lot of your XG MIDI works.
Cool... Always glad to hear that my demo videos have been useful. Based upon various comments and the emails I have received, I think I've helped to sell a ton of units for those Access guys.Vectorman wrote:Your Virus TI demos on Youtube were very helpful a few years ago when I was looking to buy one.
I still have my Virus TI - I love it dearly - but don't play it too much any more. I'm just not very good at writing the kind of music that the TI especially lends itself to, but I should revisit it someday.
You're welcome! Thanks for creating such a wonderful synth. Diva is truly the most musical software synthesizer I've played to date.Urs wrote:Thanks for sharing, Michael!
