The Numer 1 Thing Tracktion Needs FIXED ASAP!

Ok dont mean to make a second thread about this but I want to be sure Jules sees it. I am very upset that all of my rendered Tracktion tracks are 16bit 41khz (yes my audio card is 24/48). Being on a laptop I rely on rendering heavy cpu VSTi/VST's to continue working. I always work (with prevouse DAWS) at 24bit till mastering and now to find out all of my current Tracktion projects are stormed with 16bit audio files is very irratating to me. Since this is the default for rendered tracks I am assuming frozen tracks are the same. Jules PLEASE make an option of the next update so that rendered or frozen tracks can be bounced at 16, 24 or 32 bit, much like the option box you get when exporting. Please until than TRacktion is pretty unusable to me again as many of the folks I work for require 24bit auido. I am running MAc OSX 10.3.4 and latest version of Tracktion. I love TRacktion and perfer its functionality to all other DAWS but the fact that all my Tracktion songs contain a mix of 24bit and 16bit files is quite annoying and upsetting to me. THanks a bunch I am sure you will adress this ASAP with the next update. I know I am not the only one conserned by discovering this. Thanks.

Ok, it seems that you lucky PC users track rendering (once again not to be confused with exporting, and yes I know you can render a single track and set the bit rate and than import it but what the hell there is a single button that will simply render as is without re-importing, I dont like the idea of having to work around features that are already built in) is set to your audio cards output bit rate. Over hear in OSX it is default 16/41.1.
I think the easiest way to do this is to:
A. Have both FREEZE and RENDER set to your audio cards output bit rate like the PC users.
or
B. This would be nicer if you ask me. Simply add an option in the setting page asking you what bit rate/sample rate you want your FROZEN tracks and your RENDERED track to be. WIth the obvouse options of 16, 24, 31 and 41.1khz and 48 khz.
This would avoid unnessary dialog boxes and should be simple to implement.
For now I suppose I will use the export workaround but implementing this is absolutely essential if you ask me as I rely heavily on freeze and render but at the same time want to keep all my audio at 24 bit!
thanks
p.s. I know I sound like a winer, sorry.

You mean "whiner" right?
Not so much, just trying to figure it out is my guess. For the record I didn't use export but the "render track" button. I don't know if it makes any diffrence in your case but my audio input device is set to 24 bit.(When you click on it on the left hand side of the edit window)

it may not be tracktions fault. i remember reading somewhere what AU's and (maybe) vsti had problems with the pitch over 44.1kHz.
