Just noticed that the forum design has changed to a much wider view, this is great, don't touch it!

The option to tweak the width has been available for some time. I guess it's just they have changed the default setting.Sampleconstruct wrote:Just noticed that the forum design has changed to a much wider view, this is great, don't touch it!

In the drop-down menu below your username on the right, click on "customize KVR". Then on the left side of the page (you need to scroll down), you can change the default width.Sampleconstruct wrote:Oh, I missed that then.

Looks like the view on mobile browsers is completely f***ed now though... the user panel is now above the main frame, and i don't see the side panel "What's new @ KRVR" at all anymore.

Yeah, couldn't find it there wither, anyway, on my laptop it's fine, I guess the mobile view is f+++ed though with this size settings.Karten wrote:I just checked again and the option is not available anymore (at least here)Sampleconstruct wrote:Thank you!Karten wrote:In the drop-down menu below your username on the right, click on "customize KVR". I just checked on my old Galaxy Note v1 and looks much better than it used to. It now resizes to fit the screen.Sampleconstruct wrote:I guess the mobile view is f+++ed though with this size settings.

Too bad the width selection is gone...
Nice with more width, but now it is too wide.
I like to have the "products related to this thread" on the left of the thread, because of the width of the forum now, that column has "disappared". I need to click on the top of the page to view this, which is not so intuitive.

The design is now responsive, which has definitely become a global trend in the past couple of years. I think they've pulled it of rather well, but the thing about responsive layouts is that they don't always work so well for complex sites like KVR.
IMHO, the sidebar should appear below the main content in mobile view, instead of disappearing completely. Otherwise, this is a job well done!
