cool,thanx :)

i've no idea if this is even possible with Push & BWS, but encoder acceleration for faster dialing from 0 to 100 would be real nice to have. at the moment it requires a fair amount of knob twisting to do this.

i'd also love to see the ability to double-tap an encoder to return the parameter's value to its default (same as right-click > set to default value).

thanks again moss! love the volume meters :)

This is on the list in github feature requests, it will be there sooner than later.

I added this a while ago as [Delete + Knob touch] but I am starting to think that was a bad idea. It does work but I didn't check the context so if not in device mode, delete does its thing. :)

I will look into the double tap, seems reasonable, Ableton does this? Damn another thing I didn't realize, I knew about resting automation.

well no, ableton doesn't do this either *grumble*, but it was incorporated into one of Stray's 3rd party Push scripts. Very cool.

didn't know about the github feature list - will check it out, cheers mike!

I haven't been posting on these forums lately but I have been lurking.
I have to say that I am very pleased with the progress you guys are making with this script and frankly, I'm surprised that you aren't charging for it. I was ready to pay like $25 for something like this.

Any way. This project is the only reason I'm willing to leave Live for BW. I have decided to wait for BW 2.0 to make the jump, so that I can immediately have the group tracks open midi routing and push support that I require.

In my mind, Moss and the various others that contribute to this protect have solidified their place with Nativekontrol and Audiomodder as people in the audio community that make supper useful shit!

Definitely a big thanks to you guys working on this. I don't have one yet but I'm planning on it eventually.

BTW Mantra, dom has said that group tracks will come in a free 1.x update, I think that's true of vst multiout as well but I'm not totally sure. If you like you could go digging through dom's posts for that one, it should be near the start. I've been meaning to do so so I can quote it to whoever asks about that stuff.

Edit: Here is what I was thinking of, not a sure thing though: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5#p5559125

Edit. Actually here he talks about both being free 1.x updates: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9#p5685089

Just wait until you see what I have cooking for wifi mobile and Bitwig. :)

To tell you the truth moss and I have had super fun working together.

Charge, heh yeah right. ;-)

Hopefully I can make money with various things in the years to come but, this is too kewl offering for free and the mobile stuff will be free also. I want to make Bitwig accessible to those that at the moment can't afford these controllers.

I will contribute to this project as long as there are features and bugs to implement.

I think this is a bug I already fixed on GitHub.
Raffi wrote:Is it possible to implement the pad sensitivity treshold setting somewhere, I know there isn't a config app yet but maybe as code in a file as you'd probably set the treshold one time only?
It is in the works but I did not find time yet to finish it. You have to be patient another week.
Thanks for getting back on this. I'll be patient, nice to hear you guys are working on it, VERY much appreciated.

I've checked again and downloaded the latest revision from GitHub and deleted the old folder, but the pad issue still appears. It's just that it's not banking to the next 8 tracks automatically and you have to do it by hand. So when I select the 9th track pads go blank press the arrow key all fine but when going back to one track that is in the other bank of 8 you have to press the arrow again to make that bank acive.

Let me know if I can be of any help.

Thanks!

As soon as you are starting to take money (even if it is only 1$) some people expect 24/7 support and get very angry when their dreamfeature is not on the list (believe me I've been through this). Also if you stick to the rules (e.g. tax) you get a lot of additional work and the fun stops...
That's why I am doing my little fun projects for free, make new friends (hi Mike!) and still have the option to tell some guys FU :D

Yea i saw that, but I already blew my audio budget this year on komplete 9 ultimate and push. If Im not going to buy bitwig until next year any way, I may as well just wait for 2.0.
By that time BW and the push script will be much more polished and make or a smoother transition.
TeotiGraphix wrote:Just wait until you see what I have cooking for wifi mobile and Bitwig. :)
Things like this add huge value to BW. And doing it for free to boot? :hyper:
For someone like me who has trouble with basic grammar, scripting is out of the question, so its good that there are people out there that have fun doing things that seem tedious to me.
People like you allow people like me to focus on making music. :tu:

Hmm. I never thought about it from this perspective. I guess people on the internet being demanding and entitled works out in my favor. :P

Any way you guys are doing a great job. This even took the wind out of the BitwigBeats push project and now they just refer people over here lol.

Maybe down the line consider a "donate" button if it makes sense.
