It's finally here.

Go to my.mackie.com and log in to download the new Tracktion version 1.5.1.16.

Here is the list of all the new fixes and changes since the last public release:

- M-Box Fix
- Hypersonic Fix
- Ctrl+A works in Project List
- fixed the dropped-notes-at-start-of-edit-when-looping-bug
- tweaked rendering to make sure it renders notes at time 0 which were being dropped when going through PDC plugins
- made sure midi note-offs are sent to synths when tracks are muted
- changed track muting so that tracks that feed into other tracks aren't played when their destination track is muted
- internal changes to font rendering on the mac - hopefully no-one should be able to tell the difference
- the existing contents of a track will now be muted when recording over it
(but only when the input device is set to use 'replace existing clips' mode)
- fixed a problem that could make the mouse get 'stuck' after right-clicking some VST interfaces with popup-menus
- made sure effClose() is called on mach-o VSTs (only of interest to VST developers)
- improved rendering speed when normalising, and better accuracy
- fixed a midi input bug on the Mac
- fixed a bug which misaligned recordings when using a trigger-level
- fixed a bug that made some racks go silent when an edit is first opened (until the edit was changed)
- fixed a problem that could make midi notes fractionally shorter when exporting
- fixed a bug that could make the cursor get stuck (while the edit's still playing ok)
- fixed a rounding-error that could make time signatures get out-of-line at certain tempos
- tweaked quantisation to avoid some note positions getting rounded-down instead of up

As always, thank you for your patience.

Thankyou !

The Mymackie site however shows the wrong revision number - it is still claiming the current version is 1.5.1.6, and not 1.5.1.16. The download though is indeed todays release.

Looks like a whole lot of much-needed bug fixes! Very glad to see progress is being made :)

The site says it is ver 1.5.1.6. Not 1.5.1.16.
I downloaded it and the downloaded file says it is ver 1.5.1.6.

I didn't bother executing it.
Where is ver 16?

If you had bothered executing it you would have noticed that the build date is June 17, 2004. I don't think there is a .16 version. Beno is confused.

Or maybe I'm confused. I just looked at the startup again and it says version .16 ...

I guess all the labeling on the download site and the downloaded files are wrong. But it is ver 16.
I'll execute it and see.

Either way, it looks like I purchased tracktion JUST at the RIGHT TIME!!!

It must be the 20th time this claim is made. I'll download as soon as I'm home and see if there is going to be a 21st claim. :D

:) it'll feel like luxury, working without these bugs.

ASIO direct is on now by default. Probably better off. Would I be right in thinking the majority of users don't use this.
