EDIT: Using the VST2 plugin instead of the VST3 from 1459 helped a lot....

if i choose a layout larger then normal, the scroll bars are gone. they re-apear after moving the window borders. if i change to huge and back to normal the windows goes tiny and bazille is vanished till i move the window borders

Go into Reaper's preferences and search (little text box in bottom left corner) for "resize", that will take you to the correct place.
