The site is dark. The background for the site might be better if you replace the wiring graphic with just the color white. Your web parts background are also dark and might be more user-readable if you brightened up the color or made them white also. Dark letters on dark background doesn't work.squaredheads wrote:Does someone else share this thought?Slarti wrote:I am talking about your website: your registration screen is dark letters upon an ever darker background! There's no contrast!
It's unreadable!

Imho that's not a big deal but the brightness and assignment of the colours is not really 'perfect'...Musical Gym wrote:The site is dark.
For example: I've just exchanged the cols for the headlines (h4) with those of the text (p). The text is still to dark but the common expectation is fulfilled now (read: headlines highlighted, text normal)

Well, the web colour was a personal preference, but ofc I hear other ppl opinions. I'll give it a bit more of contrast when I finish other critical stuff we're working on.
Glad you like it Rajah

Hello,
I bought Nora (with Paypal) and test it very short in Reaper. Everything seems to work great!
I have a few questions about the license key. I can download it 5 times a month and the download link will be active for 24 hours. That's fine with me.
Can I use 1 key on 2 pc's or 1 pc and 1 laptop? When I ask a new license, is it the same, or is it another keyfile?
Cheers,
Dirk

Yes, you can generate the links 5 times each month. However if you need more, just email us (weird, but it could be possible).
It's the same personal key for all, you can use Nora in the PC you want, but you must be the only user.

Now everything is clear to me. 5 times a month is reasonable. I make a backup of the key anyway.squaredheads wrote:Yes, you can generate the links 5 times each month. However if you need more, just email us (weird, but it could be possible).

perhaps make it clear on the product page that this is Windows only?
It's only evident after many page clicks that this is the case.

Am I missing something? I can't get it working inside Sonar X3 for the life of me. The manual won't open, as it gives an "Invalid registry" error. I've used a couple Arps before with no issues. With Nora, I've tried setting it up as an instrument, routing the midi out into another synth, and feeding Nora with midi in data, but I get no midi input to the synth, even though Nora shows that it is running. There is no documentation on the website, so I really have no clue if there's a different way to set it up or not.

No, you did it right. Today is Sunday, I will download X3 demo tomorrow and I'll test it. If you want you can write me to support, and I'll answer you directly. I think it should be something trivial, because I have another client with X3E working with Nora.
The manual should be in the same folder where the dll is. Did the demo work?

I was just wondering why you are using Google and Dropbox to store your demo file? Surely your server can manage a 6MB download? I just found it rather strange, and I'd much rather download directly from your server, than a third party.
Can you possibly get rid of the 3 notes per octave demo restriction, and instead make it time out after some time, or make it functional for only 30 days or something? It's very hard to get a feel for it when you only have 3 notes per octave.
Can you make the window remember the last size you set it at? I don't know if this is possible, but it would be really helpful, and would save me having to resize it every time I open a new Nora in a project. Also, you can't resize the window by dragging any of the edges, you have to drag the lower right hand corner - this is not usual windows behaviour, you should be able to resize by dragging any edge as well as any corner.

Works fine here with X3e. Did you check "Enable MIDI output" in the "Soft Synth Options" window, and activate Input Echo?DJMashbot wrote:Am I missing something?
