MIDI CC volume

I'd like to know how I can use MIDI CCs to control the volume of individual Receptor VIP plugins using my keyboard as a controller or some other device. The problem I'm facing is that I have my guitar, keyboard and mic connected to my VIP and running it through a PA mixer. I don't have separate control over my mic or keyboard volumes other than the master volume. I appreciate any help I can get.

Since you have a VIP, it has the ability to learn different controllers, and there are a couple of ways to do what you want...
Probably the easiest is to open up the SETUP page, and select MIDI MIXER CONTROL page. In that page, you'll see that the Master Volume control is assigned to CC7 as a default. You can UNLEARN this so that the Mix volume is no longer controlled by CC 7, and then assign any controller you want to the different SYNTH or AUDIO Channels which have their learnable parameters listed underneath the main mix output parameters on top.
That's probably the simplest thing to do, assuming your keyboard has a few faders on it.
You could also assign controllers to the volume controls of the plugins themselves, but this is a bit more complicated, so doing it at the MIDI Mixer Control level is going to be the most straightforward...
Have fun!
