latest revision 2370, problem noticed with past ones also.
Tapmap osc goes funky from C5 kb upwards.
Try this patch for example, (play chromatically from C3 or 4 upwards) : https://app.box.com/s/h1uvsxl9e4m8i1gl72mc
It supposed to be a significant drop in volume but as I loaded the patch again, it seems to have an extra digital distorted sound also that makes it even quieter, strange...
added: Seems to work as it should from C7 till B7 also.
If you switch the osc dist from Tapmap to cosine, all seems to work normal...

Couple questions:
-I had Presets checked to be installed but no presets showed up. ?
- Why aren't the multiplex mod inputs automatable like every other mod input in Bazille?

We have one for internal use, but it needs updating. If we ever manage to do that, we might publish itJhowas wrote:Hi!!
Tendentious question: one day, could we have a simple oscilloscope VST/AU as good as Bazille's one?? Bigger possibly!!!???
Or, if you'll feel brave, a stereo Oscilloscope with Lissajous figures!!!

It's part of our standardised, script-generated installer. The latest version should install an initialise presetEchoes in the Attic wrote:Couple questions:

Are you referring to host automation or to modulation via a cable?- Why aren't the multiplex mod inputs automatable like every other mod input in Bazille?

Host automation. There is a host parameter for all the modulation inputs except for the multiplex ins. For example in Ableton, you can move the slider and see the cables move around from source to source, connected to the input. But the Multiplex inputs have no associated host control. It's too bad because they are the only controls in the entire interface that don't have host controls. Otherwise Bazille could be a completely mouse free synth using things like Nektar Panorama and Novation SL.Urs wrote:Are you referring to host automation or to modulation via a cable?- Why aren't the multiplex mod inputs automatable like every other mod input in Bazille?

Hi, thanks for the beta! I'm seriously considering getting this synth. Up until now I've been using Rev 2352, and here are some things I noticed (MP Pro Mavericks and Live 9.1)
-after initializing the synth, the fx from the previously loaded preset are still active
-please add an “interpolate patterns” function to the modulation sequencer. I mean, it seems that there is no modulation at all in empty slots. it would be nice if I can just enter a sequence in the top and bottom slot and get a gradual transition between those 2
-sometimes when you set a parameter to a non-integer, you can't go down to the lowest value (parameter value when it can't go one full integer lower) – this happens for example with the time factor for delay center. Same sometimes happens when I approach the highest value of a parameter.
-I selected velocity in the Amp mod slot of Env2. Then I notice the dedicated velocity knob below so I remove the mod source in the amp mod slot and turn the amp mod knob to the neutral position. I turn up the velocity mod on the dedicated knob and to my surprise, I didn't get any audible velocity modulation to the Env2 amp... I was scaling other parameters with velocity so I know it works in other parts of the synth.
-I've been saving presets in the main preset list (the one containing the init preset). When I go to the last preset in the list and I click on the “next” arrow (to the right) and then right click on the preset field, I don't see the preset list anymore but only the midi controllers option and its dropdown list
-undo'ing the last change doesn't always seem to work for me, it as if the last change wasn't registered and the change before gets undone
-I have modseq1 set to retrigger. Voice mode is set to mono. It seems that often the first step in the mod sequencer doesn't send out a value when I first hit a key. If I keep a note depressed, the next time the modseq passes through the first step, the mod value is sent as expected. Also, with the setup I jus described I sometimes have to press a key 3 times before the sequencer starts running – this doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, 2 times out of 3 the sequencer doesnt start (note: I have envelopes 1 and 2 triggered by the sequencer)

Can you check this with the MIDI quantized (everything perfectly on the beat), and check that with a sequencer?muelb wrote:When I play chords consecutively and fast, the amp seems to pull down the notes played before. If I play it a little bit slower, the voices are playing normal.
Is this normal?

I'd be inclined to put vocals on it, but I like it.

I hear the robots speaking. I think they are saying, "abi, check out aaron's latest song, and he will return the favor in the future, whether you like it or not. Resistance is futile."

There's an almost finished manual contained within the installer file from the first post of this topic, a few open areas but mostly in the "tips" section at the end and I've noticed it's filling up more and more for each revision of the beta.GeorgeZ wrote:Hmmm, at the risk of sounding stupid (someone mentioned a manual a few pages ago, I'm blind I guess)... is there one yet? Where?
