I too have searched in vain for a usermanual actually installed on my system, I've only found the one within the zip file. So it seems you have to open the zip file manually to access the user manual, though there may possibly be one hidden away in some obscure location.

Ha, got it from the update zip, cheers mate :D

Hey there !

Bazille is a fantastic synth.

Here is me tweaking around a single patch 100% bazille, no effects affed.

The only onther effect in there is a subtle limiter on the master bus limiting at more or less 2-3 db.

Any chance of an input patch point for the oscilloscope that would override the the main output waveform display? It would be handy for example, to check the output of an osc or indeed any other point in the signal path. Could be useful when a patch gets more complex.

Also, a question. Does the order of the fx, top to bottom in the fx ctrl window determine the order in which the audio passes through the fx? I'm assuming it does...it's not in the manual currently

Thanks

Yup, is on my list. Can't promise any when though...

Yes, that's what it does. I'll need to make it work better though (is currently borrowed from Zebra, begs to be simplified)

Urs... Anyone... How does one enter a -new- reg code in Bazille. Right now it is regged to Public Beta but I need to put my own code in now. Thanks

Navigate to the folder ...\u-he\Bazille.data\Support and open the file "com.u-he.Bazille.user"
Replace the beta key with your personal details/key and save. That's on Windows, btw

Alternative 2, step one: do as urs said on page 5 here:
Urs wrote:just delete the following file to "unregister":

Win: Vstplugins/Bazille.data/Support/com.u-he.Bazille.user.txt
Mac: MacHD/Users/You/Library/App…Support/com.u-he.Bazille.plist

- Urs
Step two: Now that you've emptied the userinfo, just (re)load the plugin and enter your own. :tu:

Thanks buddy, KINGtubby...It works :) Thanks also V-GER :tu:

I've just discovered by chance that two or more controls can be mapped to a single midi CC, which is very cool. This is probably a long shot but I think a nice addition would be if it were possible to reverse the midi response on an individual control. A simple example might be to have a filter cutoff increase while the resonance decrease, tied to a single CC, if that makes sense.

Got the demo, promptly purchased a license! I've been playing with Bazille all weekend, and I have a few suggestions. Most of these come from things I like to do on my eurorack, I don't think these are far fetched for a modular. Urs, let me know your thoughts!

Suggestions:
1. Free the FX units from the serial chain and allow them to be freely patchable and VC controllable (particularly the spring reverb!). Normalized paths or standard patches in the init patch can apply (or not).
2. Allow the envelopes to be triggered through a Trigger Input (play entire envelope on rising ramp over 0.25), Gate Input (same as trig but hold sustain), and MIDI Gate (what you have now). In short, it would be great to be able to trigger envelopes off LFO signals or the same signal powering a sample-hold.
3. Add additional VCA sections. These can be "dumb" VCAs without attenuators.
4. VC control of the ramp parameters.
5. Additional VC control of anything not VC controllable. I'm thinking about the Serge DUSG here.
6. A switch
7. comparator

The most important additions to me are #1 and #2, the rest is cream. As it stands, this is a legit synth!
