Something like this, so you can't see the sample image while going through samples, it would give more room for the sample browser.
As you can see I cannot see the full sample names as they are very long.

I have been getting the hang of MDrummer and started using it with Steinberg beatdesigner. It got me thinking about your pop up idea, the more I think about it the better it sounds.
Could you make the loop editor pop up, add the edit button to select the sound drumset editor and a mute/solo to it, which would give full access to MDrummer while been able to see the rhythm at all times. Im sure other people would like to see different things at the same time too.
Yea I think I could
this, I didn't fully think it over when suggested

I'm starting to think its a great idea.edkilp wrote:Perhaps each tab could be optionally detached, or "floated" and be separate completely.

Ok, so no mute & solo, sorry, it will be in the menu, but the popup tabs are already done and it's actually pretty awesome! I can now easily fill my 24" display with MDrummer windows

dark-i: Soon, but as you might imagine making an update to such incredibly deep software is quite a task
.
goldglob: There are already quite a few popups in various plugins and it seems it works just fine with most hosts (at least I'm not aware of problems).
