This definitely looks useful (for me).
Just placed my order for the pre-order.
I'm a former Alchemy owner and still a current Kore 2 owner. I can say already that there is definitely some overlap between Alchemy (spectral synthesis, playback position, morphing between samples and morph pads) and Kore 2 (plugin hosting, morph pads) - and even more if using with Alchemy in Kore 2, in your DAW with Leap Controller using an app like Geco.
Still the reason why I'll be picking this up is for it's seemingly ease of use for creating certain types of sound effects. To do what this appears to do in the videos is (or can be) very time consuming. Also, the price point right now is good enough for me to justify picking this up.
For me it's hard not to be interested in something that can speed up workflows and have a low price point. This is not the all versatile tool that Alchemy is, but that can also be an extremely good thing.
The fun part is controlling live, and I think the biggest drawback is no automation (which may or may not be problematic depending on the usage of the desired output sound, in particular, placement of events within the created WAV file).
Anyway, I'll be more than happy to report back, or even through PM if there's specifics you'd like me to try out.
