Why isn't this clown banned already?Delfinoverde wrote:standalone wrote:Kriminal wrote:Urs said he gets 20-30 sales a month from ppl who are using 'cracked' versions....so it seems the 'teams' are doing him a favour....![]()
Anyway, why isnt this thread locked...its against the rules to talk about warez
I believe that only the developer can lock a thread in a developer's subforum.
Of course also U-he takes advantages from cracked software exposed on very good visited (wares) sites. I doubt they admit it openly. Furthermore Mr.Heckmann likes threads like these because he can go witch-hunting (the Spanish Inquisition!) and continue to whine & moan about the "painted devils" on the wall of his brain.
I found pirated Uhe software

You seem to know so much. You probably knew it was gonna happen like this. Why did you bring it up then?Delfinoverde wrote:standalone wrote:Kriminal wrote:Urs said he gets 20-30 sales a month from ppl who are using 'cracked' versions....so it seems the 'teams' are doing him a favour....![]()

I hope he stays. Whenever the topic comes up one can count on his input. It isn't exactly refreshing but it gives us a lot of closure.firepile wrote: Why isn't this clown banned already?

Delfinoverde, I've met Urs and spent a little time with him and found him to be friendly, kind, intelligent and articulate. He displayed no arrogance at all and it was clear he values and respects his customers. I could also say that as a fellow programmer and engineer I found him to be surprisingly 'normal' and socially adept.Delfinoverde wrote:In the years 2006-2009 they were pretty less arrogant than they're now.
Hence commercial "success" can spoil people…… deja-vu!
The high regard he enjoys from the community and fellow developers (you know 'competing' devs get together and discuss common issues more than you would guess) is well earned.
I post this because so many think they can judge someone based on stuff on a forum. Urs is good to us in his virtual life - and also in real life.
Meanwhile, your site says "i contribute to make our presence here more serene". A noble goal, although perhaps easier to say than do.

dont mess with the big ones!
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Now he can return to the Animal Kingdom where he belongs, where everything is benevolent and DRM is no more.

That f**king explains a lot… I've pissed this guy off at a…z before… found him to be completely off his mind there too.EvilDragon wrote:Guess where he went then...
Not sure if a…x is considered a warez site though… they do have links to a…z there… maybe edit it out...

Hmmm, as this guy is also the guy who posts all of our stuff on a…z, I'm wondering how long Telecom Italia stores connection data. This would be a rare case where I'd love to go after scum.

My story is similar to yours. Initially I used only
Freeware or DEMO stuff downloaded @ KVRaudio! But then I noticed that some demos were good but
crippled. So I looked for "the real thing" and discovered many TORRENT-sites and FORUMS where
cracks were published.
In the beginning I wasn't so much present on AudioZ because I didn't like the rude language of
some folks, nor its appearance. But then I started to get interested and involved. Some years
later - after the great Team DYNAMICS had left the scene - I've started to work with Team xdb.
Thanks to them I've learned many things regarding "Reverse Engineering".
Reverse Engineering requires much, much patience and some tools and it can be fun!
But when it comes to release, publish the stuff problems start to come in…
…because of some very ungrateful, moaning and demanding people!
Since the new MAC systems came up and also the imposed 64 Bit architecture,
it was more and more time eating and difficult to unlock the goodies.
So I decided to stop sharing openly to avoid such situations.
Remember one thing: Despite of all "Underground" sites with all the treasures available
reality is also that many more-or-less-honest people support the developers with buying
their products. If they would stop developing also the crack scene would end soon.
Have fun with what you do - and if it's not anymore, just do another thing.

link self editedI assume you refer it also to my recent "debate" with user "Phloopy"… But mine was NOT a request nor shout out for "MAC please". It was just a message to you all that I was the one that provided R2R with the latest Rob Papen updates, and i just wanted to know WHEN they will release the MAC versions. It's annoying to see that they always bring out the stuff they want first! :snuffy: I provided them both with the MAC and WiN versions. So it doesn't feel right that they release WIN-packages and not even 1 Plug-In for MAC.
:excl: So next time I probably won't provide them with the stuff. :excl:

That's a sad story...
Delfinoverde is a pretty nice guy, artistically, I don't know why he felt the need to fight so heavily against Urs. Urs is a quite friendly and open-minded developer, more than many other developers...
If Delfinoverde is really supporting a...z now, I would be shocked...

Why shocked? It was pretty darn obvious.Tricky-Loops wrote:If Delfinoverde is really supporting a...z now, I would be shocked...
