Hello all,

Cubasis 1.8 is now available from the app store, catapulting Cubasis to a new level of awesomeness.
This is the biggest and most anticipated update so far and includes countless fixes, improvements and new features.
The biggest new features are without a doubt the automation and the MIDI CC's support. As a consequence, all sustain pedal issues are solved with this update.
The 1.8 update also includes a phase inversion plug-in, a global mixer side panel, a redesigned effect rack and Audiobus 2 support.

For a detailed list please follow the link bellow:

Today we have also released the 1.5 update for the Cubasis Project Importer. You will need this update to be able to import your Cubasis 1.8 projects into Cubase.
It will be available as always at:

Sweet, the best DAW app for iOS just got so much better :)

I wish iPads weren't so expensive, as I reckon there will never be an Android version.

Anyway, I keep toying with the idea of buying one only because I would love to use Cubasis. I'm afraid that if version 2 comes with a couple of flashy new features I will not resist the temptation.

On the other side, I keep toying with the idea of getting Cubase. However, I managed to stay dongle-free so far and I would like to see how far I can take it.

Me too. Playing with the idea of buying Cubase (iOs). The problem is the fact that am I going to waste my time with the app - is the learning curve suitable for me or am I going to spend hours and hours toying without making any music. And I'm an old time Cakewalk user (since dos version) and currently using energyxt with pc - simple enough.

there is no such thing as a learning curve - as long as you have worked with any sequencer before you will be up and running in no time - setup and working is really straightforward!

---I love this! I have no interest in sequencing or recording (takes too much talent!) but I use this as a sound source and it's killer!
The Micrologue synth is great and so are some of the regular sounds but they don't appear to be editable. I do wish there were more sounds available though...
Anyway, this is one great app and well worth the money!! :tu:

Does it export type 1 MIDI files yet? Type 0 isn't good enough.
