Agreed, absolutely. I thought the same thing to myself already. In fact this is one of the most inspiring instruments I've had the pleasure of virtually touching. Really nice patch up there^^ I like the acoustic quality in it.

Woke up, took a dip in the sea, to dream about the shore I saw,

sweet patch! 8)

Here is another one that is mostly the filter...

Hello,
Is it OK, when i hear extra overtone when i patch to LP24 in compare to Out1 ? where cutoff is on 150, full open. The same in LP18, LP12, but lower intensity. its like +19 semitone...
what i have done wrong? or it is an art ?

Hey Jan - post a screenshot of your patching so far and let's see if we can SEE what you mean. Only thing that comes to mind is that your level(s) coming into the filter may be strong enough to cause it to be driven a bit, which will saturate add harmonics.

Pdxindy, I  .. Could honestly listen to an entire EP like that^^. Hearing the need to get deeper into exploring the potential of those 'untamed' filters :ud:

It's true ([e] for sinusoidal inputs, at least). It does go away if one dials the gain all the way back. State-variable filters generate simultaneous LP/BP/HP outputs but not of 3 different slopes, that's somehow related to varying levels of overtones I'd imagine.

A little bit of a shove in the gain-staging game ... I like it :)

I would love a GUI scaling to fill a 1600 pixel wide screen. most of my screens are 1600x1200. 1220 wide is a bit small to read from a few feet away and 1830 cuts off the edges.

Sorry if this is considered spam!

I doubt anyone will complain. 3rd party presets are a GOOD thing. It's nice to have options (and temptation). :phones:
Cool!

I think this soundset will turn out really good :)

Attending screenshot,
tryied to lower volume, but still hearing harmonics. OSC volume is 50, OUT VOLUME 30.
i am on OSX maverix.

I have also noticed, When switching HQ switch on one particular sound fx patch, it sounds like an octave lower when off.

BTW only when i read manual i have realised, it is regarding cpu hungry and multicore,
at first sight i thought it works as OSCILOSCOPE quality renderer switch... lol... shame on me.

Are you running Bazille on anything else than 44.1kHz or 48kHz samplerate? Because as of now everything is only tuned for these samplerates.

If you are, then please send us the preset to support at u-he dot com

The harmonics you're hearing are due to non-linear processing in the filter. They are most obvious with sine waves of course. All voltage controlled analogue filters do this, and while Bazille's filter isn't modelled after analogue circuitry, it does it to. It's a desirable effect.

I purchased a licence the other day, is there a way to enter it apart from uninstalling it to get the register dialog back up (was registered as public beta)?

Elevated_being wrote:OK, got a weird problem. After a reinstall I have the crackling, even when licensed.

1. Installed Bazille
2. Used the "Public beta" license info - NO crackle, as expected
3. Bought a Bazille license
4. Uninstalled and then reinstalled and used "my" license info
5. Crackle appeared
6. Reinstalled again and used the "Public Beta" info - Crackle appears again
Hmmm… if you open a fresh instance, does the edit window on top say "registered to …" or does it say "demo mode"? Have you tried restarting your host software?

You don't have to reinstall btw. - just delete the following file to "unregister":

Win: Vstplugins/Bazille.data/Support/com.u-he.Bazille.user.txt
Mac: MacHD/Users/You/Library/App…Support/com.u-he.Bazille.plist

Cheers, actually you don't need to delete the file to re-register, just edit the text file and replace the user/serial, well at least on windows. :tu:

Without reading all those 29 pages, how does one uninstall it? Didn't find anything in the manual. Simply remove the folder and dll? Has it installed stuff elsewhere on my computer?

(By the way, tried it, didn't like it. It has the character of a steel cube :hihi: Not to mention that the format is unlucky. With the default resolution I can't read hardly any labels (yet another U-he Ergonomie-Supergau), and the next bigger format is too high for my wide monitor.)
