Some suggestions/feature requests that come up while playing with this impressive new build!

- Would love to have 4 outputs instead of 2 (or other options to have more control over panning)
- Would love to have patch points in the fx section for independent processing if desirable
- Would love to have a mix knob for the distortion
- More will follow I guess and keep up the good work!

Just erase that, you'll be fine.
(By the way, tried it, didn't like it. It has the character of a steel cube :hihi:
There'll be presets to show you how.
Not to mention that the format is unlucky. With the default resolution I can't read hardly any labels
There'll be finer steps (unlike the competition, which commonly has no steps at all)
(yet another U-he Ergonomie-Supergau)
(now I start to wonder if you're confusing us with somebody else)
and the next bigger format is too high for my wide monitor.)
There'll also be an optional "gearporn" skin which will be thoroughly unreadable for you :-p

Bug report:
When I Play some notes and change to another preset (very quick, with "multiple" clicks)in the preset library ,bazille crashes.
I have used Savihost(x86) on windows8 x64.

(my english is not soo good, I hope you can understand my)

I guess I am spoiled by the super-ergonomic interfaces of Dune 2, OBXD, U-NO-LX, etc. So, relatively speaking Bazille, Diva etc. are pretty bad for people who no longer have 20/20 vision. Making it so huge that it covers the entire display is not really a solution, either.

Ok, thanks, removed it completely, I hope...

There are pluses and minuses to different design choices.

OBXD and U-NO-LX are very simple and have a minimal # of controls. Bazille has something like 4 times the number of controls and those controls can be connected in 100x as many ways.

Dune 2 is a more complex because of the layers, but then you are frequently having to switch between more than a dozen different tabs... plus a lot happens in the mod matrix which is itself not particularly easy on the eyes. If I open a new preset and play a note, there is very little visual feedback on what is happening. It is not at all easy to understand how a patch is constructed.

Bazille on the other hand, has only 2 pages and the majority of the most used stuff is all on one page without any tabs. It is immediate and visual. It is easy to open a preset and get an idea of what is going on. Bazille has an inviting immediacy even though it is quite complex. The trade off is size. To fit all those controls on one page without tabs requires that individual controls be smaller.

I'm pleased with that choice and personally prefer Bazille to Dune 2 as an inviting synth interface. I don't think one method is better in the absolute sense, just for the individual and their personal priorities.

...Never.
From now on, on U-he's watch.

Just purchased! I can't believe I paid only $89! I love this synth!

I just realized, I can edit the com.u-he.Bazille.user.txt file in the Bazille.data/Support folder, and enter my name and serial #. It's a nice work-around for Sonar users such as myself.

One thing I noticed in the new beta though: on a certain patch, I get clicking on the attack of notes, but only when I play more than one note at a time, and I play those notes in rapid succession, i.e. faster than 80 bpm (approximately). I'd be happy to send in the patch, if that helps.

If you up the polyphony it will go away... it is some issue with the voice stealing

and yeah, $89 is an absurd price for this synth!

Cheers for that tip. I've noticed this too with some patches, though these have been bass patches I'd like to keep monophonic.

hy urs,
why can't we have a trigger input for the envelopes?
i'seen you can choose a trigger input from the 2cond tap,
but thats not quite the same..
can't we have a trigger input for cables?

cheers

Trigger source for envs would be cool.

Trigger source for Osc 3 & 4 would be cool too, so I could use them as proper additional lfos (with sync & single triggering available). Was messing with a pacth yesterday that could have done with an extra custom synced lfo. Lived without it of course, but would've been handy.

Still....I'd rather they worked on bugfixes than feature requests at this stage.
Q. Why is a mouse when it spins?
A. The higher the fewer.

That fixed the problem! Voices was set to 3. I increased it to 8, and the clicking went away. Thanks!
