Request for native Linux Support

Well if you sum all the pollution, I mean completely wrong statements saying stuff like Linux is not good because you have a package manager which doesn't work, installing random .exe found on the web is much better (especially if you like viruses).

I don't install random exe's from the internet. That's another thing, how stupid Linux guys think Windows folks are. Really, it's you who is prejudiced, not the ones you're fighting. Because that's what it is, a constant fight. I don't want to fight. I want to use what works for me.

The problem of Linux is that most of the people compare it to Windows because they're so used to using Windows. You can't compare it that way. It's a completely different OS. Different OS has different ways of achieving things. Same as with OS-X. You have to learn how to use the OS. It would take me the same amount of time to learn OS-X as it took me to learn Linux. So it is really unfair to compare the ways of achieving something, especially if one is so much used to using one of the OSes. I know Windows as my pocket and I found myself a bit puzzled with the Linux and OS-X way of doing things, but you have to learn it if you want to use it. Most of the time. I'm a power user, so I have to learn it. Normal user just has to know how to use the programs and that's completely the same in every OS I touched and I "touched" much more than just Windows and Linux.

Speaking of backup, the best backup is to boot into a live CD of some kind and do it. That works for every OS exactly the same so there's no comparison. I backup my OSes with a "Clonezilla" bootable CD or "redobackup" bootable CD. It used to be Norton "Ghost" for years. You can't compare these or Ghost with Microsoft Backup. It actually sounds funny to me. How can you rely on Microsoft Backup? That's kinda funny. You haven't worked in the computer maintenance, haven't you? I have and I do, along with production and mixing. I can tell you, if more people used Linux that would make my life so much easier and I'd make less money. It's such a low maintenance OS.
