If I'm not mistaken, you really only have sell just one beat in order to get a good return on your investment, assuming, of course, that you make the right choice when choosing your beat making software. I think that it goes without saying that everything must be "high grade."

Fity Cent just released his new album, if you think that it sounds old, that's cause it is old. It's been five years since his last effort and some of the "beats" that he is using came from producers almost that many years ago. Woe is the poor hip hop beatmaker who won't know until almost the last minute that their "beat" is getting used by big name hip hop artists who wait until the last damn second to let people know "hey bro, I'm using that beat you sent me, I'm going to throw some money at you."

Its kind of bs that they pick on 50, because he has often been the guy to use a no-names beat on a high profile track, and to not hide producers names. 50 has been pretty good to the bedroom guys, even if it is five years late.

The late 80's, early 90's were Hip-Hop. Today's transmogrified crap like jay-z and diddy and cent. They are a f**king disgrace.

But yeah, RBR, the mid-nineties is when it all went wrong. Today, there are still people carrying a torch, Ninjatune for example, but that gets roped in more with Trip-Hop than Hip-Hop.

I move in rock circles and the amount of sheer shit I get is incredible. And I'm not sure it is worth it. Most the arguments I find hard to defend, but I still do, best I can.

Let's face it. Hip-Hop died ten years ago, but rock died over twenty and still they flog the horse. No point arguing with burned out has beens that were never any good in the first place. The music world is a bitter world. If I had children, I would not allow them to go into music, I'd rather see them become a lawyer before a musician. And that is saying something.

Hip-Hop will keep going. Mutated by new producers and artists (like me, and no baileys you can not hear any of my f**king music ). It will keep being cross-fertalized by the viral marketing with the white markets - hello Justin Bieber and all the recent nigga shit. How timely. Just as Ms.Brad Pitt has a new film out, then Fiddy does a play on that, and in the daily HEIL HEIL HEIL, he is saying, no don't pick on poor little justin, he sells 40,000 records an hour and I need that market, I don't care that he called a few brothers niggers, coz we is all getting paid. Nigger's just a nigger to a nigger. Look it up.

And white people get credibility = sales. It isn't about black white. It is about sales. And they got that. I would say in spades, but that might be a bridge too far.

Not talking about Ninjatune now, they are keeping it real, or surreal even as the case may be, but Beyonce - the fur thing - where the animals are skinned alive - effectively tortured to death. Don't make me laugh. I don't want to go into their world, or I would have to fight them, and there is more of them than there are of me, and they have guns and I don't .

Yet, I still like to knock out my beats, much to the disdain of every single person I know, Mod, Rocker, Technoer, I am a joke amongst men. But I Proudly carry the torch that people like Kid Rock and LL Cool J and Queen Latifah and The Beastie Boys laid down. I'm on a hiding to nothing, that's for sure.

But like I said before, it's not about me, is it? It's about the game. The machine.

Got to laugh though at all the idiots that think it is some kind of big mind control program -MKUltra. Yeah, right.
