Some are misspelled... I searched for "marble"
...
3 points when #1
2 when 2
and 1 point when on 3rd place.

Hint: maybe you missed out on rustman's post on page 3 + some more.
I think all votes are equal, regardless of place - I'm checking all the votes, so far I've got the same count for modular piano & working through the rest.

Congrats winners! Curious to find out who did some of the others :)

^ Seems like you're right about the pointing system, in that case, I assume that the votes are fine...
every contestant should look up their patches to see if they're battling for top 5.

Congrats to the winners!
..also, good luck in the next contest!

I apologize to all the friends of the forum, but the commitments of work and family have allowed me to only be able to test the sounds of contest today's....
What can I say?

Sounds beautiful, Vst Absurdly wonderful ...
I'm glad I bought it in advance.

Urs and U-HE team are always a certainty and a guarantee of high quality '....

Yes, I made a note about that one on my vote. Marble Wurlie. Heck, I may have misspelled it... :o

Edit: and my reply here was much to slow and unfortunately quote-free.

FWIW, getting similar results to the posted count, just one transposition (#2 and #3 in Modern Cosmo, which ends up of no consequence, double-checked but /shrug). There should be an additional award for most cables used to make this counting more tedious :hihi:
Nice!

Argh! I missed out on first place by just one vote! :D

Doesn't matter though - just a pleasure to be involved in this competition. Bazille, like ACE, just inspires tweaking and fiddling in a way that I've never seen with any other synth. So much fun.

This was cool. It was my first time voting in one of these. Now I have a bunch of cool patches for Bazille already. I have any number of Zebra presets from some of you guys as well... Nice work. I think I'm caught up now. :tu:

Wow, I've never won anything before, I still haven't, but I did come second in Modular Piano and fifth in Modern Cosmo, so that's something. Thanks to everyone who voted, it was fun!

My patches were Rhodedendron and Four Pharaoh. I'm finding Bazille incredibly inspiring and it's already in use in my music - actually it's broken a long creative block. Huge thanks to Urs and his team for making it, the interface is the best I have ever used, I clicked with it immediately.

The fun thing about synthesisers is discovering new sounds and techniques, Bazille facilitates that better than anything else I've yet come across, even hardware. End of praise. For now.

By the way, my first name was used next to one set of results and my handle on the other - I am Huw (first name) or wuh (handle). See what I did there?

Cheers

Congrats to the winners!! Bazille is a kick :) I enjoyed participating and very much enjoyed everyone's patches (I still am actually…).

My 2 cents FWIW - for creating DX EP sounds Bazille is hellabetter than the original DXes. I fired up my old DX7 for comparison and Bazille kicked it into the next block! Sure there's two less operators, but you've got PD to add, and such flexible routing for modulation, and fx, …, and…, ...

The filters self oscillate and are rather perfect in pitch - you have 4 extra modulators there ;-)
