Hi Urs,

i played with Zebrify a bit, it can do wonderful things (presets like Enveglobe give you instant Eno/Lanois).

Are there any news regarding Uhbik X ? A matrix with modulation and signal connections similar to the matrix in Zebrify would provide a wonderful palette of sound possibilities (reverb -> reverse delay -> pitch -> resonator).

Also, Uhbik G could use a stereo deviation pot for ADT and stereorization of mono signals.

Cheers
J

Sorry for replying even though I'm not Urs. :-P What does ADT stand for? How would "stereo devitaion", erhm , deviate from the present "offset" knob?

Hey V-ger,

look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automatic_double_tracking.

Offset is symmetrical i believe. How can you do -4 cents on one side and +7 on the other ? Maybe easier to have independent settings for left and right.
Also independent predelay would be nice and a pot for crosstalk.

We don't mention the unspeakable Uhbik, unless Urs mentions it first! :hihi:

erm, how do you post links to videos and have the video show up in your post??

Something's changed... Doesn't seem to be working anymore.
***Ahhh the "s"... :hihi:

As far as "the plugin that shall not be named" is concerned, not naming it sure hasn't prevented competitors from copying the idea... ;)

My apologies, little did i know about the story so far. I guess there are different uses for a collection of plugins, likely the most common use is to slap a phaser or chorus in an fx insert.

I am more interested in creating chains that sound like weird H3000 / DSP4000 like patches, where feedback into the same effect and other routing options are important.

I think it would already be great if all of the existing Uhbik plugins would offer a feedback loop with an insert slot before the signal reaches the input again, where another vst could be inserted, so recursive filters, pitch shifters etc are a matter of 2 clicks.

I tried Metaplugin, but didn't find a way to do feedback loops, besides it has a problem with the GUI of the Uhbiks.

By the way, Uhbik-D could use a reverse on/off button for each delay tap, that would be pretty cool.

What doesn't work?
I just tried it. The shelled Mac AU only loads as Uhbik-A, but using the single VSTs works a treat.

The gui of Uhbik and other vst plugins under OSX10.6.8 are displayed in Metaplugin when the editor is called up for the first time. Once you click on a graphic element, the gui becomes masked white. You could still edit but you have to click randomly in the white field...
