Just some suggestions for future updates that I came up with when programming some sounds.
Firstly, it would be nice to have a pitch input in the patch field that would be added to the KBD signal.
Secondly, the mapping generators produce a lot of aliasing when scanned in audio range.

A life without a Modular is possible but pointless.

Could not find any follow-up for this copy-paste issue. I'm assuming it's still a work-in-progress?djbza wrote:The sequencer knob's copy-paste doesn't work.
I think it would be really nice to be able to set the sequencer levels like Ableton allows with holding down CTRL, and drawing a line, or having some default shapes to select. Setting all 16 levels is hard work.
I tried the 'interpolate ->' function and it didn't seem to work either.

Look at the Fractal knob in OSC2
This ghost cable artifact occurred after attaching the cable from S&H to the fractalize input.
This is OS 10.9.3
Logic 10.0.7 (AU)

might also be nice if single click in the slider range set the slider immediately (i.e. not dragging the slider),
the UI lines make it pretty simple to see & select +/- 0,20,40,60,80,90,100 (and if you did snap to 10, clicking between the lines could give you 10,30 etc.). would allow very quick setup, which then you could fine tune later.

Bug or feature? I'm not sure: controlling a Mod Map by Ramp fed through a CV doesn't yield the same results as controlling direct by the same Ramp. Would help to clarify, as using CV to control Mod Map might open all sorts of possibilities...

Rather than the CV being goofy, the Ramp outputs are unipolar - seems like it makes them more envelope-like. An LFO map source vs. an LFO outlet through CV for example is equivalent.

Since updating to 2370, changing presets is causing a nasty crash here, causing an endless series of error windows to appear (Cubase 5, W7 64bit). I found a workaround though, if the instrument is deactivated before changing preset, and then reactivated, there is no crash.

Doh, yes, of course - it's an unipolar envelope. Thanks! I guess it just seemed counter-intuitive that it should behave differently when put through CV - though the Ramp's behaviour (and that of envelopes) when controlling ModMap position direct is much more useful. I was just looking for a way to invert and/or modify the Ramp shape first (though I forget why now...)xh3rv wrote:Rather than the CV being goofy, the Ramp outputs are unipolar - seems like it makes them more envelope-like.
