I seem to have a copy of 4.0.3 according to this catalog/list of some of my old DVD-Rs. The drive on this laptop is half-borked, my connection is 3/4 borked and it would be a pretty big pain, but if you desperately need it, I can try and put it somewhere split in rar volumes. It seems to be the original download from their site and it's ~564MB. So give me a shout and I'll give it a shot.

What a mess... NI should offer a downgrade to K5 owners, especially that it doesn't support XP that some freaks, like me, still cherish.

You should google crossgrades for kontakt there may be a discount available to you if you have a library that qualifies you for a crossgrade discount I saw the page online just the other day, I own VI one and it qualifies me for a discount

I believe it is hear just googled it myself looks like it costs $249

Any news or updates in the respect?

Have Kontakt 5 full but not installed Kontakt4. Only need the 4 player for older projects as Cubase does not recognise and auto replace K5. This is pretty short sited of ojne of my favourite software houses

Any help much appreciated. Can get the 4.1.1 update not problem, just not the original Kontakt 4 player. grrr
