Exactly, you need to download the whole package I'm afraid.

Vojtech..during the MD5 install I chose to uninstall MD4 rather than update, after which (as desired) the MD4 folder still existed with just my own saved stuff in it. Then, all the MD5 stuff installed into my MD4 folder. I'd like to rename the MD4 folder to MD5 folder. I can see (I think) that I would also need to rename my desktop shortcut target (in properties). But would there then be some problem with how the renamed MD talks to App Data?
Should I have renamed the lingering folder after the MD4 uninstall, and then directed the new install to it?

My installation did that, too. It's still in the MDrummer 4 Large folder. It still runs MD5, so I don't really care what the folder is named. I think you (we) should have deleted the folder too when MD4 was uninstalled, then I'll bet it would have installed MD5 to a properly named folder. But again, as long as it's version 5 that's running, who really cares what the folder is named? I'm positive everything is absolutely fine there, as well as here.
EDIT: On the other hand, if you had a ton of kits saved and presets, loops, etc, then deleting that folder would not be real smart! Hahaha. Unless Vojtech has a different answer, I'd be inclined to leave well enough alone.

Well, I'd leave the name. Right now the default name is called simply "MDrummer Large" to avoid this in the future, but it is really just the name, it doesn't matter. If you have a problem with this for some reason, you can rename it and update the shortcuts.

Understood, just checking, thanks. Yes, my problem is fastidiousness, but I might rename (and update the shortcuts) now...get it out of the way rather than remembering to 'line it up' on the next install..after all, I don't want MDrummer32 in an MDrummer4 folder! And even if you Vojtech only make it to say MDrummer20, I would think that MDrummer's artificial intelligence will have by then figured out how to evolve by itself.

Hi long time
Redownloading the wall pack is not so good and i don't use the sound data packs so maybe just the plugin installer would be good?
Anyway right now i am waiting for the dl to finish probably 3 days .
However it's good to see a major update on Mdrummer
thx Vojtech!

Hi Simon, well, 3 days seems like a long time indeed!
Well, one needs a reasonable internet connection to get this, but I'm afraid you just need to use the newest installer, no way around it.

run great but often crash on tracktion 5 when browsing grooves or pièces kits.
Does i need to report it to the tracktion forum?

Ok, so, can you find any "system" in when it happens? Maybe there's something you do that triggers it. It could be related to Tracktion, but I'd rather first wait, before we conclude it is related to it.

Well i have just installed it and browsed the pièces kit or midi grooves and all was ok in podium but not in tracktion.
Now mdrummer don't work att all in the 2 daw (illegal opération) but i suspect the old mdrummer 4 (my daw was thinking mdrummer 5 is like mdrummer4 ).
So i 'll reset it and see what happens.
Brb

That looks like old plugin with new data. Try uninstalling it, search for existing plugins and ensure all of them have been removed, then install it again.
