Not sure what you're getting at here. DM-307 is not part of Kontakt. Kontakt is a sampler, and Sampltank is as well. But they host different formats and have different strengths and weaknesses. Presumably, 3rd party devs will take a look at ST3 and decide if they want to develop for it as well.
