I personally can't wait to see this feature implemented. Having these windows separate and visible at the same time is going to be a huge time-saver for me! Bring it on, good man!

Any news or info about the pop up thing? As far as when it may be available to your loyal followers?? Very excited to see this

Post

Soon soon :D It will be released along with the AAX support.

muslimpunk - I don't think it is related to this topic, but anyway, what exactly is the problem? You really need to give me more information...

Basically :

I want an acoustic kit playing a rock rhythm on channel 1
AND SIMULTANEOUSLY
I want a darbouka playing a middle eastern pattern on channel 2.

A step by step answer would be appreciated.

Post

I understand that, but what is the problem?

No matter what i do i cant get this to happen.

Do i assign different drums to different channels and then different rhythm patterns ?

I tried this but it didnt work.

Which tab / view do i use ?

muslimpunk, if you don't answer me, we are never going to solve this... So I'm asking again, what is the problem? What happens?

All you need to do is to load a drumset and darbooka (probably mapped to bonga) and then load some rhythms...

I still havent figured this out , and maybe I have not been clear :

- In "Quick Set Up" tab / view i select an acoustic drumkit (for eg: MTotalDrum 1).

-In "Quick Set Up" tab / view i select a rhythm (for eg: Pop Rock 1).

- I press intro and the beat starts with an intro... so far so good.

- The above described steps are all happening while channel 1 is selected.

Below is the part that I cannot figure out how to do :

Now I want to load a darkbouka kit/percussion on channel 2 and play an arabic rhytym on channel 2 while should play simultaneously as the rock rhythym / acoustic kit on channel 1.

No matter what i do , i acnnot acheive this.

Some detailed step by step instructions for this would be HIGHLY appreciated.

I think you need to do this in the rhytm editor not the quick setup. I have tried quicly it works.

muslimpunk ok, so the easiest and best way would be to use another instance of MDrummer. But if you want to do it in a single instance, then:

1) Load darbuka in quick setup / drumset using "Load & join"

2) Load some compliant rhythm for rhythm channel 2. I checked that darbooka is using "conga", so you need just about any rhythm played by conga (latin stuff will do quite fine as latin rhythms are actually quite similar to arabic rhythms).

oH man this is beautiful.....

I swear this is like drum plugin heaven....I am playing two simultaneous rhythms using two MIDI tracks in Reaper. Single samples have never sounded so good....

Thank you !
