There is apparently a block of text missing from the PDF regarding the Detector Mode setting. There's a picture of the option, but no explanatory text. Instead, where that text should be there is a redundant paragraph about the "Level independent" option that may have been a leftover earlier draft.
Could you maybe comment on the three modes (accurate, approximated and hybrid)? Sorry, I'm too impatient to wait for rev. 2 of the doc.

Damn, I knew something was missing
. Ok so:
Detector mode selects the algorithm the plugin uses to detect transients. None of the modes are better or worse, "so you can choose subjectively. Approximated mode takes the least amount of CPU, but it's response especially in sustain stages may be not accurate, which can however be advantageous in some cases. Accurate is default, takes the most CPU, but it's response is as accurate as possible in both attack and release stages. Hybrid is something in between the 2 modes.

There's no rule really, these just sound different, but I cannot make any general judgements about which is better for what. Just trybbaggins wrote:Would Approximated mode be more suitable for material that's fairly uniform, such as sampled drums?
