Hi folks,

MDrummer has been updated to 5.01 bringing several improvements (AAX support, popup tabs, redo, bass 2...), optimizations and fixes. It is highly recommended to install this update.

If you have version 5.00 installed, you can download an updater from our download page. If you have an older version or require AAX support, you need to get the newest installer from the download page.

That is SOOOOOOO sweeeeeet! Thank you very much for being so attentive to what your users ask for! I only had a few minutes to try the new update because I have to get to bed (I have one of those pesky day jobs!), but the pop up windows are AWESOME!!!! I can tell already that this is going to make things so much better for me personally. Again, thanks Vojtech, and fantastic job! Works exactly as I hoped it would! You're the man!

not sure why, but I cannot download mdrummer 5 large files. I am averaging 20 KB/s using Chrome estimating 11-13 hours per file. I have 50 meg download speed and don't have a problem downloading anything else.

gmontano: It suggest:
1) Try again later, it's very likely that many people are now downloading so the server may be kind of overloaded.
2) Disable antivirus, just in case, some of them try to use some riddiculous heuristics in everything you download...
3) Download each files separately. When you try downloading all of them, it may or may not be advantageous as the server might start prioritizing other customers.

Hey, been getting the hang of the new setup and noticed that there might be a problem with the Loop editor window resizing.
1 It will only resize left and right, not up and down.
2 when both menu's at the top are minimised it won't resize at all.

Could it be possible when you double click to select a track in the loop editor, it also selects the sound you are working on in the drumset editor, if you had both loop editor and drumset editor open it would make things a bit smoother, as all the tracks are in opposite order in the loop editor than the drumset editor and mixer.

Would still love mute/solo in the Loop editor

Still great update, makes it so versatile

Loop editor - Ha! Damn, you are right!! Next update

Selecting the track - just right click and select Edit drum

. Double-click selects all notes in the track.

Mute/solo - sorry, it's available from the right click menu, it will have to suffice.

Loop editor - yea, I can just leave the loop editor tab open and pop out the other sections, works fine.

Selecting the track - Could single click not select notes and double click can have another command.

Mute/solo - no prob, what about a shortcut
eg. right click on the track then press m or s on the keyboard.
Sorry I just dont like menus.

I'm using the cubase ic pro app on the ipad and everthing is just the push of a button away, so I dont really have to use any of the menus in cubase.
Shortcuts might be an option?

Loop editor - Simon, I could swear I tested all of the tabs...well apparently not

Selection/mute/solo - sorry, the current workflow won't be changed. Keyboard shortcuts cannot be used because there is no "selection". I'll think about the M/S buttons again, but to be honest, I'm not a fan of it and sadly I'm the ultimate judge of what will or will not be implemented

. We could probably do something like ctrl+click though, or middle button click...

And thank you guys! I'm glad you like it, there was a lot of work involved

I think i found a little bug, too. If I have the Rhythm Generator tab open as normal, I can drag midi clips from my hard drive. If I have the window popped up, it doesn't allow me to drag and drop midi clips.

A couple more small things,

1 In the quick setup page, when popped out and auto load selected, you can't scroll through the drumsets with the up and down arrows on the keyboard.

2 When you minimize cubase and you have tabs popped out they don't minimize with cubase, they stay on the screen and always on top of everything.

3 Could you tell me where this is,
-Added lock component feature to drumset designer to prevent randomization from replacing specified components.
Just can't seem to find it.

Sorry me again,
But I'm not sure how to go about this,
I have setup a Novation zero controller with automap to Mdrummer and it works great, for each drum you have the mixer option for
mute, volume, Pan, pitch, send 1 and send 2 and 2 reserved
could you add solo and edit drum to these reserved or a way I could add them to automap or is it novation I have to get on to?
would solve my menu issues.
