Normalize audio clips under T5

Surely I don't have to use an external editor to normalize clips under T5?
I can see this feature was present in T4 under the 'edit audio file' menu but that seems to have been removed from T5 and I can't see Normalize listed under the keyboard shortcuts.
I hope I'm just missing it as this seems like a pretty major feature to drop. If it has been removed, why?

Go to 'view source file' and then 'edit audio file'.

Thanks Frank!
It's actually 'View source info' but that was close enough to uncover it for me
Normalize seems quite hidden there to me and its also a shame that multiple clips can't be normalized in one go.
No DAW will ever be perfect!

devs:
May I suggest that 'Basic editing operations' be moved from its current, rather illogical, location to become a menu option beneath the 'Render clip' audio clip properties menu seeing as that is what the basic editing operations do (re-render the clip, not just view it).

On closer inspection, I've noticed that there is a gap in the audio clip properties panel just below the pan slider so I would suggest that the whole 'Edit Audio File' menu be moved from within 'View Source info' to there instead.
I don't think I'll need to dig within 'View Source info' if the 'Edit audio file' menu gets promoted from lurking within its depths.

Scrutinizing sharper still I came to realize the gap in the audio clip properties panel I mentioned previously is only there on mono audio clips - on stereo clips the gap is filled with selectors for the active channel(s).
However, my observations wrt the 'Edit Audio File' menu are still true in that 'View' menus, like the one its currently beneath, would be expected to only contain non-editing (ie read/view only) stuff plus functions like 'Normalize' and 'make mono' are used frequently, by me at least. In fact, I usually assign Normalize a shortcut key under other DAWs, I use it so often.
I suggest TSC make room for moving the 'Edit Audio File' up a level by replacing 'Reverse', which is one of the options under 'Basic Editing Operations' anyway.
Up until now I've mainly been using T5 for MIDI but I've just started to do some serious audio work with it hence me highlighting this.

Hi danboid, thanks for the ideas. The reason the normalise option is under the 'Edit Audio File' button is that it is a destructive operation that replaces the source file. All the clip properties (including the new in T5 'Reverse') are non-destructive and only apply to that clip.
When you click the 'View Source Info' button you'll notice the clip gets de-selected and you get a new selection in the panel "Media Clip of Type 'wave'". This is the same as selecting the audio file from the project items page and means you are changing the source item, not the wave clip in the Edit.
Rather than normalising the source, it might be a better idea to provide a quick option for setting the clip gain to the level required to normalise the clip. This could then also be done on multiple clips and would not alter the source material.

That sounds good to me as Normalize is the only option in that menu that I'll be making frequent use of.
I realized those edit options were destructive but this isn't made any clearer to the user by sticking it under a 'View...' menu so I still think its poorly placed. However, I wouldn't need to use it much if your suggested idea was implemented and hopefully with the ability to assign a shortcut key to it too.

6 years have passed, so I'm wondering, if Waveform 11 supports normalizing of multiple clips at once?
I recorded bands using W11 and need to normalize all their vocal takes, backing vocals, adlips and instruments.
Is there a way to select all clips and normalize them? Is there a (hidden) hotkey or menu?
Selecting chops single handedly is really cumbersome.
cheers
