Cypher from DCAM Synth Squad is an analog FM emulation, with a few interesting quirks such as being able to dial in crosstalk and other crud with the aptly named 'analog' knob. I like it a lot, but it has some odd behaviours that bug me. Different oversampling options seem to alter the FM in ways you wouldn't expect, as though the pitch becomes less stable and more liable to 'beat' the higher the oversampling rate. Easily corrected with the 'beat' knob that tunes by Hz rather than musical intervals, but annoying nontheless. Makes the option to choose a different oversampling rate for export somewhat useless.

Worth a demo though, as it sounds like it's very much the kind of thing you're looking for.

Yeah, I just take issue with the phrase VA meaning everything and nothing. The oscillators are not virtual analog, they are digital. Digital oscillators can create complex waves including sawtooth like waves and square waves, that doesn't make them VA.

Diva is a VA synth, it's supposed to be virtual analog, well except for a couple of the digital/hybrid oscillators. So, even though the analog-1 variant of the two-vco oscillator looks an awful lot like a PD sawtooth, the oscillator still has a PWM input.

Bazille is a good choice, I hadn't actually read the OPs post. I was just taking issue with saying that the only thing that you need for something to be VA is that it can create Sawtooth/triangle waveforms. A Casio CZ-101 can do the same waveforms in almost exactly the same way but it is not a VA synth.
