MuLab 6.0.35 released

Can't reproduce this... When first starting (fresh install, 6.0.24 Win64), I changed from MME to ASIO and selected my ASIO driver. I click Select Inputs and MuLab then hung briefly with a Windows "this program has stopped responding" popup appearing. I clicked something which got me back to the audio set up dialog, where I could choose my driver okay. I guess it could have been the ASIO driver taking a while to get control of the sound card -- I'd been using it with DirectX earlier on today.

Right-click on Edit when not in Edit mode could also display the floating window... It feels a bit inconsistent as it is now.

Anyone else having problems moving notes ?
Each time I try to move a note within a sequence, it is bounced a few bars away.
for some reason this problem does not occur in existing sequences from the start session.
It worked fine in 6-0-21.

other thing: is it me or the mouse wheel scrolling is slower than in M5?

i don't have any problems with moving notes
check current grid and grid snap on/off

Completely cleared Firefox cache and now keep on hitting F5 to refresh. Maybe a (proxy)server side issue with my ISP?

Selecting mixer rack disables Toggle Loop shortcut

i have noticed, that sometimes Toggle Loop shortcut didn't work.

now i have verifyed this:
1. create a new session - Toggle Loop shortcut works
2. select Basic Synth Rack Mixer - Toggle Loop shortcut didn't work
3. select Basic Synth Rack Track - Toggle Loop shortcut works

same behaviour as in MuLab 5.5.2

I returned to the M5.5.2 links because some of the last additions to M6.0.24 caused problems which i didn't expect. Working on an update that fixes these things. Should be available this evening.

Take your time Taking a couple of days more to iron out the last issues is better than rushing things and giving the impression that M6 is not mature and solid, yet.

i have noticed, that sometimes Toggle Loop shortcut didn't work.

1. create a new session - Toggle Loop shortcut works

It has to do with keyboard focus. Pls see:

If you want you can visualize the keyboard focus by a colored rectangle, it's the preference "Draw GUI Focus Box". In M5 this focus box was visual by default, in M6 it is invisible by default.

Anyway, i've tuned the code so that this function (and the different Add New Track functions) also work when the docked mixing desk is focused. But the essential story about keyboard focus remains. Thanks for focusing this aspect.

Ok, understood focusing.
It's while i thought Toggle Loop is a global functionality like Play, Rec etc.

Now i have activated "Draw GUI Focus Box" with 100% and i see the box.
but if i use the shortcuts "Focus Previous Rack" or "Focus Next Rack" the "GUI Focus Box" will not be actualised, although the focus was changed.
Why did Focus Box works only with Left Mouse Click?
