HI, I would like to record the drum parts into different tracks all simultaneously, in order to manage them separately.
I've added multiple mudrum in order to set a single drum part for every mudrum, but if I add more than 1 mudrum module, the sounds come out distorted and damaged.
What am I doing wrong??
Thanks!
Dario

check Audio Setup -> Num Audio Processor Threadsmyper wrote:It seems when the cpu meter goes over 70% it starts produces noise...any ideas??
default is Auto (1), click in this field - hold left mouse button and move mouse up to the max value 2 or more.
if you can enhance that Num Audio Processor Threads value, dropouts should go away

Maybe you're adding too many plugins? Note that each computer has its limits, and when you're asking too much of it, you'll hear audio drop outs/clicks because the computer can't process it all in time.

The configuration now is very simple, just one mudrum in its rack and SGtar in the other rack. No other effects.mutools wrote:Maybe you're adding too many plugins? Note that each computer has its limits.
When I try the factory instrument, some of them clip and some not.
So it's only a machine related problem??

I don't know because i can't check your setup, i'm just highlighting possible reasons.
If the CPU meter in the transport panel is high up then that's an indication it's a CPU problem.
Detailed info on the transport panel: http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab/transport.html

yes you should upgrade, because 1.6 GHZ and 2 GB RAM is not enough.myper wrote:Intel Core 2
1.6 ghz
2 gb ram
m-audio fast track
windows xp
should upgrade??
anyway mulab is great...I'm almoust conviced to buy the full license....
i think, the minimum should be 3 GHZ Dual Core and 4 GB RAM

You can try to temporarily reduce the sample rate down to 22 kHz via MuLab's audio setup. If you do not hear the noise, it's a weak hardware.

Maybe check your latency buffer.
Raise it to see if it helps.
