Hello at all,

after working with Diva for 2 Years I'm tired of using USB powered Midi Controllers and I just found my way to controll Diva: TouchOSC via WiFi on IPad or IPhone
What a Dream Controller, cheap, simple and easy to use, endless possibilities BUT now I'm confused how to use the Programm Change to switch between Sub Folders and how to Change Presets.
The only clear thing is the Diva manual:
Individual patches are selected via MIDI Program Change messages. As they are accessed in
alphabetical order, it is a good idea to put a number at the beginning of each name e.g. ‘000 rest-
of-name’ to ‘127 rest-of-name’ or similar.
Banks: The MIDI Programs folder can contain up to 127 sub-folders (of 128 patches each), and
these are switchable via MIDI bank select messages 1-127. The MIDI bank select message is
CC#0 (Diva only interprets the MSB) – send this value, then a Program Change message
But how it works with TouchOSC (as an example in my case!)

Thans in advance for any help.

Brgds

its me again: ok i just figured out how to change presets, but I only can change the .h2p files in the Midi Programms Folder. What about the Sub Folders? How to navigate to a Sub folder and how they must look?
My folderes are listed as follow:

MIDI Programms (incl. Factory Presets as usual)
001 Transitions_1
002 Transitions_2
003 Diva Nation_1

ans so on...

Thanks for any help in advance,
Thorben

I don't know about OSC, but sub-folders are switched via 'Bank Select' (MIDI message). Pretty sure it's described in the manual, however briefly.

Hi Howard, thanks for your reply.
I placed this question also to the maker or admin of TouchOSC (no answer till yet)
but however I'm unsure what of the folowing parrameters could be the "Bank Select":
Therefore pls see the attchment.

And just a tip from me, try TouchOSC (available for Android and iOS)
its a pretty cool and cheap tool.
You can walk arround your flat while playing with your synths with your own mappings/templates. No more "space" limitation!

Please to hear and kinde regards
