So, here's an effort to create an ambient piece with just Bazille. (Caution: Kinda dark with no discernible beats…)

In addition to a couple of my own patches, I used the beautiful 'Drunken Master' patch by Mr. Bit from Bazille PC #1.

I installed it and it works but the plugin doesn't show me the patches,
everything is transparent in the patch browser.

@beatbrenning: The public beta comes without presets... of course the release version will have plenty! I haven't counted how many we have so far, but the numbers are certainly getting into "Diva" territory.
Bazille is much more of a tweakers' synth than an instant source of presets, and half the fun (at least!) is making your own sounds...

I don't find making my own sounds fun at all honestly. And I have worked on other synths for their factory banks, so I know a little. Hopefully it will have plenty of presets included or I'd probably sell it in market place.

Of course it will have plenty of presets.
Did you even check the two Bazille patch competition threads already, containing quite a number of patches?

Intuitive it is not for a newbie designer in modular synths
but i guess they all are like that, modular synths are a mystery to me?

Hi Howard,
It's that my saved and downloaded presets don t show up. It looks like a bug to me cause I can click in the patchbrowser on presets but I can not read their names... They are yellow marked but I cannot read...
Thanks! and by the way it sounds really great and makes a lot of fun playing with.

Sounds like an installation issue. Maybe the font is missing. Have you got Lucida Sans Unicode on your system? (Check if it's in the fonts menu of your text processor)beatbrenning wrote:Hi Howard,

Thanks for the advice. I tried and installed Lucida Sans Unicode but sadly doesn't work either...

Two different companies with two very different philosophies I suppose, and also possibly different customer bases.ATS wrote:Bought for the exact same price as the ElectraX 2 UPDATE
I am in new synth acquisition mode and just bought (pre-purchased?) Bazille after playing with the demo for about an hour. My other licensed u-he products for the moment are Zebra2, ACE, and MFM2. I guess that I am more into the modular-type stuff (also have a pretty large-sized Eurorack system).

Hi,
I've dicovered a lil' Bug: When I change the color of the cables. Bazille forget the color state when I reopen the GUI.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

just purchased and feel lame that I can't figure out what the latest version is. The link takes me to an earlier version.
Aslo, I tried removing my old Bazille and re-registering with my new purchased login details but clicking on the interface doesn't bring up the registration window anymore...

The latest version is always the one that's linked in the sticky threads on top of the u-he forum. Currently it'sIgor Amos wrote:just purchased and feel lame that I can't figure out what the latest version is. The link takes me to an earlier version.

We are however set to post a new version either tonight or tomorrow, to re-enable the Public Beta serial number for yet another month. This newer version will also take a new registration even while the Public Beta license is active.
