I don't understand your post. Please elaborate.DHR53 wrote:Hmmm... so the version 5 the the pencil tool was on by default in the editor which made sense to me. Having the eraser tool active when I'm moving stuff around or changing the note length seems odd... Like I'm going to accidentally delete a not which I don't want to do? Is that what we're discussing???

Why so complicated?mutools wrote: Ok, how to set the mouse tool to arrow for all sequence parts:
* Assign a shortcut to the "Command Line" function. (only needed once of course)
* Open your session you want to update.
* Press that shortcut to show the command line dialog.
* Enter "set all sequence parts to arrow tool" + OK
Done.
Note that this is an unsuported temporary function. If other users would ask about such function, please help each other, as it won't be in the docs. Thanks.
There is a preference "Default Mouse Tool" which i set to Arrow to have the same editor behaviour in M6 as in M5.
Or did i miss something?

Cool
I usually avoid those preferences because the fonts are too small to read, so I have to use my reading lens, which I hate...

Probably you did. No prob. If you save a M5 session in M6 before you switch the default mouse tool to arrow mode, all sequence parts of that session will get the pencil mode. (This at least is what I understood.)AndreasD wrote:Or did i miss something?

I discovered a preference for the font size ...fluffy_little_something wrote:CoolI usually avoid those preferences because the fonts are too small to read, so I have to use my reading lens, which I hate...

Menu font size I suppose. I have set that to 24, but it does not apply to certain areas of Mulab.Reincke wrote:I discovered a preference for the font size ...fluffy_little_something wrote:CoolI usually avoid those preferences because the fonts are too small to read, so I have to use my reading lens, which I hate...

The version I had loaded (6.028) was showing the eraser tool by default in the editor... but the version I just downloaded is now showing the pencil again? Hmmm, go figure. I see the tool menu in the bottom of the window too. Was that there before???

You can only install M6.0.30 if you already had installed that M6.0.28 package. If not first do so

Any idea when the release will be so we get our eternal keys?
Days, weeks, months, years from now?
Just wondering because Mulab is so subtle that I tend to forget I am still using a preliminary version. Today I noticed, though, as the sound went away periodically...
