Yeah, a PT user would have to be impressed. Reaper can do this without VEP at all

Is Protools that CPU hungry? I've never tried it before.

I just figured how cool it would be to do this with my Macbook Pro so i could run a bunch of Divas all in real-time in Ableton plus all the effects and other instruments.

I need a Mac Pro though.

Compared to Reaper, yeah.

And notice that he upgraded the CPU to a hexacore with hyperthreading. That's more of a help here, than VEP, IMHO.
