I agree about the price.
And from the video carrots they showed before release, I realized it was becoming more and more complicated to approach. It looks like a NASA Engineer reworked Ableton Live to me. Quite powerful, yet convoluted.
I had the same opinion about Fast Tracker II back in the 90s.. the developer crammed so much into a single screen it was information overload for my poor brain.
Impulse Tracker 2 was far more manageable and easy to approach for me.
In any case, If they had a cut down version for a quarter of the current going price, I might be interested in it for loop mashups and the sort. Then again, I guess I could just get Live Lite and call it a day too..
