Hello,
when I change the GUI resolution (normal > large) both on my DIVA and Zebra2 (newest versions) and click on "make default", the resolution switches back to original when I open up the plugins again.
Is there a trick?

This is not possible yet. "Make default" only accounts for the skin selection, gamma and GUI brightness.

Don't know about other daws, but in Studio One you can save a "default preset" with the desired GUI resolution.

as in Cubendo (which may have 'borrowed' it) works great except for me in Zebra on Mac.

in cubendo make the "large" version as default preset, that's work !
