I caught my Zebra trying to jump into a volcano last night. When I asked him he said, I've no scope. Managed to talk him back in. I use the scope in Max4live, does the job well

That's what I'd love to see! Thinking about getting a seaboard some day. Would love Zebra to be awesome with it.Urs wrote:Very high up our priority list!thetechnobear wrote:Voice per channel support ?

I currently own both Zebra 2 and Zebra HZ. HZ was my only birthday present this year.
I've never even read this forum before and have to say the upgrade to Zebra 3 is more than reasonable.
'd love to be able to load any patch (Z2 or HZ) into a single instance of Z3 but I have enough projects with different versions that I still have 32 and 64 bit versions of Zebra loaded on the computer so the XXXX with space.
Zebra is still my main go-to synth. My very First hardware analog synth was a MINI MOOG in the 70's and I can easily reproduce any sound from that instrument on Zebra in seconds. I own Massive, absynth, Alchemy (my second favorite), and a handful of tiny others but always end up dumping the small stuff in favor of Zebra. I am amazed at what this one tool can create. The Dark Zebra was more than worth the price.
I'm currently playing with Bazille but only because it reminds me of my massive polyfusion modular system from the old days. Zebra still outperforms. Don't get lost in the little things. Concentrate on the flagship. I absolutely love Zebra, I may have to search presets outside the tool with a shell but I'm sure that's because I'm a hardware/software geek and haven't spent enough time understanding where the patches are and which ones work where.
Bottom line: LOVE ZEBRA - Excited that an update is coming - not dropping Z2 or HZ as I've already invested too many projects to them both

Not sure I understand you correctly. You do realize that Zebra3 will cost you a reasonable $0 as a Zebra HZ owner and Urs intends to maintain Z2 after the Z3 release for as long as possible?stokespeter wrote:I currently own both Zebra 2 and Zebra HZ. HZ was my only birthday present this year.

When you own both Zebra2 and ZebraHZ you don't have to pay an upgrade price to Zebra3.Not sure I understand you correctly. You do realize that Zebra3 will cost you a reasonable $0 as a Zebra HZ owner and Urs intends to maintain Z2 after the Z3 release for as long as possible?
Once Zebra3 is available Zebra2 will not be sold anymore but will still be maintained for a long time to go.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

Well almost no contradiction. Together with stokespeter's post it is clear what you mean. Without it one might think that Zebra2 isn't a requirement for a free upgrade to Zebra3 because ZebraHZ would be all you need.medienhexer wrote:Please read again. That said, I admit I didn't read your post careful enough. I read it as if you were wondering about the upgrade yourself instead of wondering if stokespeter is aware of the upgrade option.

No problem. I just tried to keep it simple, since you can't buy HZ without owning Z2Timfonie wrote:Well almost no contradiction. Together with stokespeter's post it is clear what you mean. I was looking forward to Bazille 1.0 so the little missing things like being able to set the number of voices and so on would be added and the final polish applied.rustman wrote:...aaaaaaaannnnnnddddd your wish is granted........metal wrote:Exciting news for sure! However, the recent beta has much more significant change than I was expecting. Between the Mod Mappers, Ramps, Looping Envelopes, Effects, new and improved Filters, LFO's and new FM modes, this is already like Bazille 2.0!!

judging from this timeline, i feel like your wish is still being grantedUrs wrote:As for timing our current roadmap looks like this:
- Bazille testing & preset design (ongoing)
- ACE update
- Diva UI improvements
- everything else update
- Presswerk feature completion, testing & preset design
- Bazille release
- Presswerk release
up until here we have a rough idea, from now on we can't begin to estimate when and in which order
Hopefully in 2014:
- various UI makeovers, maybe with new features (Uhbik, Filterscape)
- addition of a preferences pane for easier adjustments
- implementation of some sort of preset search facility
- a long promised magware synth
- Hive One (formerly known as weekend project) completion, testing and preset design
- implementation of various Z3 modules
- Z3 UI design

can have drag and drop midi to and from host daw. So if arp has good melody you can drag it into sequencer for editing then maybe import back into program?
