Around 1:30 a.m. EST, I was checking my email before going to bed, and I saw the Sweetwater emails. So I stayed up another 45 mins to go throught the IK authorization process and I downloaded ST3 and the 8 sound files. When I checked this a.m., all the files had downloaded and I felt like I won the lottery for once. Everything ready to go when I get home. Just unpack and install.

Now I'm reading that these are the wrong files? Seriously?

The ONLY reason I logged in to KVR was to congratulate IKM on a job well done.

So what does that mean... It's a winner?

No. What I meant was, I was going to write that IKM did a great job in getting all the files uploaded and delivered in a timely, efficient manner. And when I logged on to KVR to write about it, I find out that the files are the wrong files, and I have to re-download everything again, assuming the right files eventually get posted sometime today. So, in a nutshell, "Congrats on a crap job delivering your new flagship product, IKM."

WOW!!! does this mean that the individuals that ordered the box version would have to download ST 3 and content from the servers... because if that is the case... that would be f'ed up!!!

the reason of buying the box version is not dealing with downloads at all... i have not problem downloading the actual app... but the sound content is another story... because buying the box version... i will be using the dvds as my backup...

i think it is fair to inform your customer about this... because if this is the case i would like to cancel my order...

What I don´t get here is that people getting their new serial from Sweetwater already had this 8 file version, but we that preordered from IK Multimedia don´t get anything.

Anyway, not really a big deal.. if ST3 is as good as you´d obviously expect it to be if you´ve purchased it, waiting a little longer can´t be that bad when you know (= hope!) that there´s gold at the end of the rainbow.

Hard to believe no Ausies have been here to say they got the email and downloaded.

It is afterall, Friday the 25th there.

On the other hand maybe they are so excited to be working with ST3 NOW!

I do have to LOL at the use of the phrase "10 years in the making" on the IKM site, as if that makes it a good thing.

Perhaps they are having problems trying to find a server that can cope with the huge download, after all, if they have to charge us 15 Euros to download 2GB of Sampletank Expansions, then imagine how much their bill must be for a whacking 33GB!!! (Sarcasm)

OK, then perhaps they just screw me once more, actually I Just ordered to be able to use what I already paid for once, Even it they get things solved here in The last hours of The day its still bad style, especially considered ST-history, they should deffinately have send out by The beginning of th Day, to show a bit humbleness, and customercare,..

I would realy like to cansel my Pre-ordered, I used Paypal, don't know IF that makes it easyer to cansel
