I think you missed my point. The release date was set, and communicated to Sweetwater, some time ago--I get their catalogs and they were advertising this. Sweetwater did exactly what it is should to do: release the product on the release day it was given.

Does it really make good sense to run this all the way up to the hour and minute of that day, and then push blame back on the company who is trying to serve its customers well by making good on its commitments? Can Sweetwater really be expected to wait for the exact minute that this is announced? IKM owes an apology to Sweetwater and its customers.

Having preordered myself, directly from the IKM website, I am not that upset because I've come to expect this and took it as a proper gamble. Oddly, I'm still entertained and humored by how ridiculous this all is

Of course. Sorry that I was moving fast, and really meant to state the facts and cover as much as I could everywhere. This is 100% correct, and I am indeed sorry that the communication from us to Sweetwater was definitely a factor in this and should have been better coordinated. I did not mean to imply that we did not shoulder responsibility for this and I hope I saved at least some folks some unnecessary download time and trouble.

no respond for the box version... will i have to download the content if i brought the box version? if i do have to download the content... will ik multimedia send me replacement disk? because the reason for buying the box version is because the dvds are my backup...

because if downloading the content is the answer... i would like to cancel my order...

You will definitely have to download the latest version of the installer for the main program if there are any updates between now and then but the sound library should be fine. Any updates there would likely be small ancillary files on the User Area (we did one for Miroslav long ago, as I recall).

It is exactly for big sample libraries like this that one needs 64 bit plugins, to be able get access to more than 4GB RAM.

I think this was a good decision by IK, those wanting to use a 32 bit plug, still can use ST2

If only st instruments consumed large amounts of ram, which they don't. These aren't 2gb piano libraries. Anyway, I think this the very first 64 bit only plugin??? Like... Can we have 64 bit? No! OK, here's ur 64 bit... Can we also have 32 bit?! No!!!

There should be an "Imported Instruments" section there. Please report this to support (since I doubt you'd miss that so there may be something going on) at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support

Strangely, it seems to be working at the moment*. I tried to install the first zip of ST3 samples and stuff, and it created a setting in the browser called 'Imported Instruments.' Then when I tried Miro again, it is installing. WTF is up with that? The only reason I tried again was seeing one of the screenshots that was posted about importing. If this works as it should, then I'll probably be as happy as a pig in Scheiße.
