IKM SampleTank 3 (ST3) Now Available

Teksoniks's Multis are quite nice, though I am getting one 'not found' message, and the guitar multi just choked my CPU and crashed Core Audio on the standalone.

My view is, as I've stated, this is what it is. Use what you want, and leave the rest. Solo voices will be on my 'leave the rest' list. I don't really see myself buying any add-ons in the future. For Orchestra, I have the VSL Special Eds., Synth pads and other goodies, Omnisphere, Addictive Drums 1 & 2, as well as the stock instruments in Logic X. The drum kits in that are at least as good as the kits in ST3, probably better. I really have an embarrassment of riches with these instruments, so much so I get lost auditioning stuff when I should be composing.

Here are 16 Multis for Sampletank 3 using only the included content...no extra libraries were used. Some may take a bit to load but hopefully they'll be worth the wait..............

I think your presets use some of the expansion tank packs so that's probably the issue. Someone earlier mentioned that they needed to get Cinematik to make one of the presets work.

They are very good, but my system doesn't seem to like some of them. Strange that I get a 'can't find' message for the new content.

Don't know, if anybody will judge 4,000 instruments from just one demo [edit - and I'm not sure about the intent of the performance either] of a single sound in a set meant to have a large variety then I suppose that's their prerogative.

Peter, are the box version on schedule? i almost cant wait to test ST 3 out... another question... will the box version be a little more straight forward to install... i.e. just execute the app, point dll to the vst libraries and point sounds/patches to a folder?
