Hello,

just installed Satin V1.2 but now my renoise crashes. It happens when i try to open the Satin panel. Error message:

Ouch. The VST plugin 'u-he: Satin (from u-he)' crashed in VST event/function: 'Dispatch', Thread: 'GUI'

IMPORTANT: This is a fatal error. Please save the current document under a !new! name to prevent losing important data. Renoise will silently ignore any following errors from this plug-in.

DO NOT IGNORE THIS ERROR; DO NOT CONTINUE USING THE PLUGIN. THIS CAN DESTROY YOUR SONG OR CAUSE OTHER RANDOM CRASHES AND PROBLEMS!

It's most likely that this is a bug in the VST plugin, so please report this problem to the authors of this plugin in order to get the problem fixed!

Any other guys problems in renoise? Ideas how to tacle this?

Greetings
Hardock

That's a pretty dramatic error message!

I imagine that the fine folk at U-he will help you out soon though :)

Well,

We've tested it to death, so I think it could be an installation issue, or it might be related to the added Azimuth parameter.

First off, are you on Mac or PC, using Renoise as 32 or 64 bit application?

Does it work in any other host on your machine, using the exact same VSTplugins folder? Do any of our other recent builds work in Renoise, e.g. the latest Bazille?

If you send us that information to support at u-he dot com, Rob or Michael can guide you through a few steps to figure this out.

Cheers,

- Urs

Ok, we've tested inhouse with Renoise on all platforms. We can't reproduce crashes, so it might be something else.

Please contact support, we'll guide you through whatever installation issue might have occurred :)
