Hi - I just got a Arturia Keylab to experiement with how it is with Diva - can anyone assist me trying to work out how I scroll through the presets? The manual Diva didnt make a great deal of sense...Ideally Id like to just move up/down thru the User Diva preset folder...
On the keylab I have buttons that can go into program change mode. The options then are:
Channel
Program number
Bank LSB
Bank MSB
thats the setting for the program change button...(?)
Diva patch change MIDI controller

Do you already put all the presets you wanna select via MIDI program change in the MIDI program folder of DIVA?

1. Move/copy all the patches you want to switch through with your controller into the MIDI Programs folder.
You can have 1 layer of sub-folders inside the MIDI Programs folder.
MIDI Programs folder is Bank Change MSB value 0, folders range from Bank Change MSB 1 to 127.
Each folder can contain 128 presets, values 0-127.
2. Once they're in place, restart your host.
Yup, necessary to re-build the MIDI Programs cache txt file in Diva.
3. Diva will now respond to Bank Change MSB messaged (CC#0, I think) and to MIDI Program Changes.
Tested this myself just a few days ago.

I think Im starting to get there. Ive moved the patches...and get the folder structure...do I need to put a number before each preset? In this assignment on the keylab - Im assigning these parameters above - just for the one button...so what I dont understand is - is that button meant to scroll thru? Or send a message then another button moves thru the presets...

There's no "step forward" or "step backward" command in Diva, at least that I know of.
There are only "jump to Bank #" and "jump to Program #" commands.
If Diva receives the Bank MSB value 0, it will select the contents of the MIDI Programs folder.
If you send it the value 1, it will select the contents of the first sub-folder inside the MIDI Programs folder.
If you send the value 5, it will select the contents of the 5th sub-folder inside MIDI Programs.
And so on.
If you send a Program Change value of 0, the first preset in the currently selected folder will be loaded.
If you send a Program Change value of 10, the 11th (because starts at 0) preset in the currently selected folder will be loaded.
And so on.
Diva sorts all the patches alphanumerically, which means numbers 0 to 9 first and letters A to Z later.
So yes, you could wildly arrange patches in any order you desire, just by prefixing their names with combinations of letters and/or numbers.
It will probably be necessary to restart your host after renaming them all, though.
I don't know the Keylab, so unfortunately I can't give you any specific help with that.
