I am very new to Zebra 2.
I understand the basics of synthesis, however Zebra 2 is a different beast.
It is very difficult also since Zebra 2 can produce a variety of tones and sonics out of the same synth.

I attached a sine pad made in XPAND 2 (Preset Soft Pads- 8 Warmth) and want to know how close can Zebra 2 get to that sonic texture.

I know Zebra 2 can make sine pads obviously, but how SONICALLY can it get to that end result by itself?

Any help is appreciated thanks!

UPDATE: it is crazy how an audio forum does not allow MP3 or WAV attachements but the preset in question can be heard hear:

It is the beginning sound. The preset can be heard above if you need to hear it isolated

I'm not really familiar with sound design in Zebra yet but you should check out Joseph Hollo's soundsets http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=356672 - I think he has some stuff that would put you on track. He might even be able to point you in a specific direction if he sees this thread.

You can download all the 3 demo packs from this website to find many relative
colored pads.

Like "HeavenBells",
-Then tweak the Env1 and Env2 Attack to short (zero) and play around (lower) with the filter cutoff.
You can also change the waveform to a basic sine.

So just listen the presets and tear them apart

Cheers, :)
Joseph
