Is anyone else here finding tabbing between the three screens excruciating slow? As in reaaaaally slow? As it it's not even fun to use slow?

I submitted a follow-up post to the the still-open support ticket my earlier ASIO problem. No response yet.

Also hoping that the next update fixes addressed the crash of all iterations of the plugin when using the RME ASIO at its lowest latency.

:D
Same problem with RME UFX here. Crashes when using 48 samples over USB at least. I opened a ticket which was closed with the response to use a higher latency! I replied to reopen the ticket.

I built my machine and chose the RME UFX because I use electronic drums and want to be able to work at low latency when recording. The low latency is not a problem for Kontakt, BFD3, Superior Drummer, Addictive Keys, Addictive Drums, EZ Drummer 2, Scuffham S-Gear, Guitar Rig, or any other piece of software I own aside from SampleTank 3.

"Use a higher latency" is an entirely unacceptable response. Let's hope that is not the official and final word on the matter. And I could not agree more: ST3 is the only plugin I have that has this specific problem.

The ticket closes upon reply, that's something that has been brought up as confusing to users. Simply reply back and they will continue to work with you, the ticket is not officially closed, that would be a suggestion that you can say isn't an option and didn't work for you. Thank you.

I did reply. Thanks for the clarification about the auto closing. Like you said it is confusing because when I click on the link and it says ticket closed, well, it appears that it is closed :) However to give credit where credit is due, IK does respond timely to the initial requests which is a lot better than many companies.

About the low latency issue - hopefully IK will recognize it is as an issue.

I am re-installing Miroslav because some voices are not sounding even though they are listed. Stacc French Horns is one of them, I think. It shows up, and the meter moves when hit, but there is no audio (in ST3). So, I am checking the original Miro.
Bombadil - check your routing on the mix page. I'll bet your not getting sound because of the outs.

Hi Dan,

That's probably a part of the issue, thanks. I already had to contact support for that, because I hadn't realized it was set for multi-out by default. I just forgot. Nevertheless, some instrument patches have been acting strangely, from not sounding at all, to sounding sometimes, to sounding strangled. Jeez, Louise.

Also, if 'stereo' is selected in the host, why TF is ST3 defaulting to multi-out in the first place? Unless I am missing something, I am going to have to go in and modify every multi then re-save them for them to function properly. :dog:

Ok I've successfully updated to 3.0.1 and imported Sonik Synth. However as I'm going through some of the instruments I'm getting several that make no sound: A Synths /A Motion Synths/"002 Delight Sequence" and "004 Gone" right off the bat. I'm looking on the Edit page and I don't see anything obvious that could be causing the issue (decay/sustain set to zero, Volume off etc). I've removed the effects from the mix page to see if they are to blame but it made no difference. So far I've checked out 8 instruments and 2 make no sound although on "Gone" I do see the VU meter moving ever so slightly. I notice that "001 The Complex MW" if very overdriven so maybe it's a matter of some volume levels not converting properly ? I'm going to keep testing...........

I've found something......in the patches "002 Delight Sequence" and "004 Gone" if I turn off the Filter they will make a sound. If I choose VCF Low Pass either 6,12, or 24 they will make no sound even with Freq and Res set to values that should work. If I choose VCF High Pass they will sound. So from preliminary testing it appears there is something amiss in the Filter conversion on these imported instruments. It's too early to tell if this is more widespread or if other conditions exist. I'll have to spend more time on the issue.

So everybody having issues with instruments not sounding try turning off the Filter and see what happens...........

I also suggest putting a limiter on your master. Some of these patches are coming in quite Hot.........

Well there seems to be other issues as well. : "009 Always Remember" will not make a sound even if I do turn off the Filter. I've tried every setting.....volume, poly, ADSR, removing the effects etc but still no luck. Did anyone at IK actually test this import feature during beta ? Or could it be some kind of corrupt import installation issue ? But then why only some instruments ? Let me check the sample paths to see if there is a clue.............

Ok now it gets weirder....on my old system there is no "009 Always Remember" instrument in A Synth / A Motion Synths. There is a "009 Resmosize" instrument and on my new system in the converted samples there is a "009 Resmosize" .PAK file. In the original Sonik Synth content there is a 009 Always Remember .stip file but no corresponding .sth or sti or stw files. Seems like there is something getting confused during the conversion process.

But this is my day off from work and I'm still feeling groggy from the medication related to a kidney stone so I really don't want to do any more testing today............ :drunk:

Ok one more thing before I go lay down....the patch "Don't Cry" imported the first as +26 semitones now in ST3 (but loaded correctly on second load). There is something seriously wrong with the conversion process.......
