I was advised that the not officially receptorised version of VB3 works on receptor, and it does, but I'm getting a loud beep every now and then. Maybe every twenty minutes or something like that? Possibly less? It's pretty loud through front of house. Has anyone else experienced it?
Furthermore, what is the advantage of 1.4 over 1.2? Is it just an extra leslie model, or is there more to it?
Thanks.

Don't know what that beep is. If your vb3 became unauthorized i believe you would get a periodic noise burst (if memory serves). I've been using 1.4 since it came out on my receptor 2. The only problem i've had is that sometimes (and this hasn't happened in quite a while) you don't hear the percussion. Your on the 'B' preset upper manual and you see the on/off switch toggling in the gui but no perc. Restart fixes it. As for as differences, as i recall more control options for start/stop/fast/slow, better midi learn options and (i seem to recall) better sound.

Look at the screen of VB3. It if says "Registered to (you)" underneath the VB3 logo on the left hand side then it is registered and should not make any noises. If it does NOT say Registered to (you) underneath the logo, you need to purchase a serial number and register the plugin!
