Will this be cheaper for registered Renoise users?

What kind of sampler would Redux best compare against?
I mean it's not the Kontakt type multi-patch, scripted GUI type of sampler is it?

Try the Renoise 3 demo:-) From what I read, Redux should more or less be the full sampler section from Renoise.Numanoid wrote:What kind of sampler would Redux best compare against?

What are you talking about?lectrixboogaloo wrote:yeah great if ya have a lot of renoise instruments already. who does? otherwise, if no major changes, don't bother... half baked not cracked up to be...

Why do you think you have to have "...a lot of renoise instruments already..." for it to be useful?
What is the ideology that you think is broken?
Why do you think you owe anyone an apology regarding your view point?
Do you expect your opinion will be regarded as fact and therefore people won't bother trying Redux and making up their own minds as to it's usefulness?

No... if i thought that i would also think I had delusional psychic powers over every reader. obviously, it is an opinion. that is why i put it here and not in the (nonexistent) book of facts.dformd wrote:What are you talking about?lectrixboogaloo wrote:yeah great if ya have a lot of renoise instruments already. who does? otherwise, if no major changes, don't bother... half baked not cracked up to be...

nothing wrong with trackers and i depended on them alot.
but quit the bullshit, seriously.
flstudio invented your 'formula device' in what 2001 that renoise stole from them? and yours still isn't out of beta? for over 10 years?
but i still hear renoise people bragging about what a piece of shit fl is over the formula device that they are so brilliant about. THAT WAS OBVIOUSLY RIPPED OFF AND A TOTAL WORK-ALIKE.
The new 'brilliant' instrument stuff sucks. It's a bad idea by people that don't know synths or samplers. They might know trackers, fine.
Imagine something then try to make that something in the new xrni... then... yeah, ya already know.

alright, you know what, I have a feeling if we were sitting in the same room having a conversation we wouldn't be anywhere near or at all pissed off with each other. I mean, I got the impression you were venting your frustrations, and I did kinda egg you on; so I apologize for that. Really, my main beef with your original statement regarding Redux was that you weren't really explaining anything about why you felt the way you did. In retrospect I wish I was cooler-headed myself and simply said that.
