+1 for Cabaret, if that counts as a musical...
Haven't seen Jesus Christ Superstar in years, but used to find it brilliant (the movie).
Haven't really thought of Wizard of Oz as a musical (just a movie that happens to have some singing
) but absolutely love it! 
A Nightmare Before Christmas - ah, now I got "Kidnap the Sandy Claws" stuck in my head and I dont mind...
Need to see West Side Story again, good one but I remember it as just slightly uneven. Best parts blew me away though.
Little Shop of Horrors (the 1986 version, ashamed to say I still haven't seen the non-musical original) was great goofy fun. Would have been even better with the original ending though.

I worked in theaters for most of the 80s and got to see a hell of a lot of shows that I would not otherwise have seen, and when I was growing up, two of my aunts that used to babysit us loved film musicals, so I know a lot of them.

Not really a musical fan, but My Fair Lady has some extraordinary songwriting. Doesn't get much better. Also, the movie is cute.
The Black Rider by Wilson/Waits/Burroughs is cool, have seen it twice in the nineties (not the original show but a production of our local theatre). Can't beat Tom Waits...

It really is incredible - I just got the restored bluray version and it's a revelation - so crisp and clear and 7.2 surround DTS sound. Practically perfect.
